「So the children of Joseph, 　Manasseh and Ephraim, took their inheritance.」　　Amen. When Jacob blessed his twelve sons, Joseph received the most blessings. Joseph had two sons: Manasseh, the firstborn, and Ephraim, the second son. But when Jacob blessed them, he crossed his hands. The blessing for the firstborn, Manasseh, was given to the second son, Ephraim.Therefore, the younger son Ephraim became greater than the elder son Manasseh. One reason the northern kingdom of Israel after the split was also called Ephraim was because of his great influence. 　Even today, may it be according to the Lord's plan...God bless you.   See you tomorrow.

『ヨセフ族、　マナセとエフライムは自分たちの相続地を受け継いだ。』 　ヤコブが12人の息子たちを祝福した時に、最も多く祝福されたのはヨセフでした。そのヨセフには、二人の息子がいました。長男マナセと次男エフライムです。 でも、ヤコブはこの二人を祝福する時に手を交差して祝福したのです。長男マナセの祝福は次男エフライムへ与えられたのです。従って、次男エフライムが長男マナセよりも大いなる者となったのです。分裂後の北イスラエルをエフライムとも呼んだのは、その影響力が大きかった為でもあるのです。 　今日も、主のご計画に沿うように・・・。

「She answered, "Give me a blessing; 　since you have given me land in the South, 　give me also springs of water." 　So he gave her the upper springs and the lower springs.」　　Amen. 　After capturing Kiriath-arba, Othniel also received Caleb's daughter Achsah as his wife as a reward. When Achsah finally went to the Negev as Othniel's wife, she requested a spring. Her father Caleb gave her both the upper spring and the lower spring. Springs are springs of life. They must have been especially necessary in the arid land of the Negev.(Joh 4:14) "but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. 『アクサは言った。「私にお祝いを下さい。　ネゲブの地を私に下さるのですから、湧き水を下さい。」　そこでカレブは上の泉と下の泉を彼女に与えた。』   キルヤテ・エフェルを攻め取ったオテニエルは、同時に褒賞としてカレブの娘アクサを妻にすることを得ました。そのアクサは、いよいよネゲブにオテニエルの妻として赴くにあたり、泉を求めました。父親カレブは、上の泉と下の泉を彼女に贈りました。泉は、命の泉なのです。特に乾燥の地ネゲブには必要だったことでしょう。「ヨハ4:14 しかし、わたしが与える水を飲む人は、いつまでも決して渇くことがありません。わたしが与える水は、その人の内で泉となり、永遠のいのちへの水が湧き出ます。」 　今日も、主が与える水を飲むことができますように・・・。

『モーセが私を遣わした日と同様に、今も私は壮健です。　私の今の力はあの時の力と変わらず、　戦争にも日常の出入りにも耐えうるものです。』 あの12人の斥候のうち、信仰的な報告をしたのは、ヨシュアとカレブの二人だけでした。そのカレブも今や85歳の老人となっていました。でも、矍鑠として自分の所有地を得たいと申し出たのです。しかも、その地は、イスラエルの子孫の恐怖の的、巨人の住むアナク人の地ヘブロンだったのです。のちの大豪傑ゴリヤテはその子孫だという説もありますが、確証はありません。カレブは外なる人は衰えても、内なる人はますます血気盛んだったようです。 　今日も、主の働き人として用いられますように・・・。 

「"As yet I am as strong this day as 　on the day that Moses sent me; 　just as my strength was then, 　so now is my strength for war, 　both for going out and for coming in.」　　Amen. 　Of the twelve spies, only Joshua and Caleb gave a report based on faith.Caleb himself was now an 85-year-old man. Yet he boldly declared his desire to possess his inheritance. And that inheritance was Hebron, the land of the Anakim—the giants who were the terror of the Israelites. Some theories suggest the future mighty warrior Goliath was his descendant, though this remains unconfirmed. Caleb seemed to be a man whose outer being grew weaker, yet whose inner being grew ever more vigorous. 　May we be used as the Lord's workers today as well...　God bless you.   See you next week.

『8:1 イエスが山から下りて来られると、大勢の群衆がイエスに従った。8:2 すると見よ。ツァラアトに冒された人がみもとに来て、イエスに向かってひれ伏し、「主よ、お心一つで私をきよくすることがおできになります」と言った。8:3 イエスは手を伸ばして彼にさわり、「わたしの心だ。きよくなれ」と言われた。すると、すぐに彼のツァラアトはきよめられた。8:4 イエスは彼に言われた。「だれにも話さないように気をつけなさい。ただ行って自分を祭司に見せなさい。そして、人々への証しのために、モーセが命じたささげ物をしなさい。」』お祈りいたします。　愛する天のお父様、み名を崇め感謝します。百人隊長の信仰がイエス様を見つけ、しもべがイエス様によって癒されたように、私たちも、ただみことばをくださいと素直に宣言することができますように導いてください。体の病も心の病も霊的な病も、すぐにイエス様の元へ持っていくことができるように助けてください。この世を過ごしているとたくさんの艱難がやってきます。その一つ一つを信仰によって追い出すことができますように、聖霊様、力を与えてください。今日の礼拝を感謝し、すでに、イエス様が勝利を取られていることを信じて、すべてを感謝し、主イエス・キリストのお名前によって、お祈りいたします。アーメン 

『ヨシュアは年を重ねて老人になっていた。　【主】は彼に告げられた。　「あなたは年を重ね、老人になった。しかし、　占領すべき地は非常にたくさん残っている。』 　ヨシュアは、カナンの地を大体治めましたが、まだまだ残されていた地もたくさんあったのです。でも、年を重ねて老人になっていました。私も年を重ねて老人になってしまいました。聖書は、ボロボロになり、赤線も増えて、毎日読み続けていますが、分からない箇所だらけです。「まだ占領すべき地がたくさん残っている」のです。ひとつひとつ自分のものにしていくのが、残された私の愉しみでもあるのです。 　今日も、主の中で愉しめますように・・・。　

「Now Joshua was old, advanced in years. 　And the Lord said to him: 　"You are old, advanced in years, 　and there remains very much land yet to be possessed.」　　Amen. 　Joshua had largely conquered the land of Canaan, yet much territory remained unconquered.But he had grown old with the passing years. I too have grown old with the passing years. My Bible is worn and tattered, its red lines multiplying, yet I read it daily, though it remains full of passages I don't understand. “Much land remains to be conquered.” Making each part my own is also the joy left to me. 　May I find joy in the Lord today as well...　　God bless you.   See you tomorrow.

『【主】のしもべモーセとイスラエルの子らは、彼らを討った。　【主】のしもべモーセはルベン人とガド人と、　マナセの半部族に、その地を所有地として与えた。』 　ヨルダン川の東側で2王、西側で31王の名前が書かれてあります。征服された王たちの名前です。初めに征服された東側の土地をルベン人とガド人とマナセの半部族が所有地として与えられました。今から西側を征服しようとした矢先の出来事でした。戦意喪失、兵士の士気に関わることでしたが、一緒に戦うことで何とか乗り切ることができました。31王をすべて討ち果たして、神の約束を手に入れたのです。イエス様は、十字架上で「完了した」と言って、霊をお渡しになりました。私たちの罪すべてをイエス様が身代わりとなって背負われたのです。 　今日も、主の十字架を思い起こすことができますように・・・。
