「The Lord takes pleasure in those who fear Him, 　In those who hope in His mercy.」　Amen.   　In the previous verse, it is written, "He does not delight in the strength of the horse;He takes no pleasure in the legs of a man."  He does not want cavalry or infantry. The weapon of war is to wear all the armor of God. We are told to take the waist with truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit. 『主を恐れる者と 　御恵みを待ち望む者とを【主】は好まれる。』   　前節に、「神は馬の力を喜ばず人の足の速さを好まれない。」と、書かれてあります。騎兵も歩兵もいらないというのです。戦うための武器は、神のすべての武具を身に着けることなのです。真理の帯・正義の胸当て・平和の福音・信仰の盾・救いのかぶと・御霊の剣を取りなさいと言われるのです。すなわち、神のことばを取りなさいということなのです。　   　今日も、神の武具を身に着けることができますように・・・。

「The Lord lifts up the humble; 　He casts the wicked down to the ground.」　Amen.   　God's work has two sides: protecting "those who love the Lord" and destroying "those who resist the Lord". God is both 100% human and 100% God. God is both a loving God and a righteous God. God is a God who loves without ceasing, but He is also a God who is strict without ceasing when it comes to righteousness.   　May we discern God's true nature today....　 God bless you.   See you tomorrow.

『【主】は心の貧しい者を支え 　悪しき者を地面に引き降ろされる。』   　神様の働きは、「主を愛する者」を守り、「主に抗う者」を滅ぼすという両面を持っています。神様は、１００％人間であり、１００％神様という両面を持っています。神様は、愛なる神様であり、また、義なる神様という両面を持っています。どこまでも愛し続ける神様なのですが、義に関してはどこまでも厳しい神様でもあるのです。   　今日も、神様の本質を見極めることができますように・・・。

「He heals the brokenhearted 　And binds up their wounds.」　Amen.   　In the Bible, there is a passage known as the "Parable of the Good Samaritan." A man who was attacked by robbers was lying wounded by the roadside. A priest happened to pass by but ignored him and continued on his way. Then, a Levite came by, saw the wounded man, but also chose to pass by without helping. Finally, a Samaritan came along, and unlike the priest and the Levite, he showed genuine care and compassion, tending to the wounded man. People tend to avoid getting involved in troublesome situations, but Jesus, unlike anyone else, was willing to be crucified on the cross in our place.   　May we remember the love of the cross today as well.　　 God bless you.   See you tomorrow.

『主は心の打ち砕かれた者を癒やし 　彼らの傷を包まれる。』   　聖書の中に、「良きサマリヤ人の例え話」という箇所があります。強盗に襲われた人が倒れていた所に、祭司がやってきましたが、見て見ぬふりして通り過ぎていきました。次にレビ人がやってきましたが、同じように見て見ぬふりして通り過ぎていきました。そして、次にやってきたサマリヤ人は、祭司やレビ人とは違って、心を 込めて看病を行ったのです。人は、面倒くさい事には避けて通るのですが、イエス様は、私たちの身代わりに十字架に架けられたのです。   　今日も、十字架の愛を覚えることができますように・・・。

「Praise the Lord! 　For it is good to sing praises to our God; 　For it is pleasant, and praise is beautiful.」　Amen.   　The words "good," "pleasant," and "beautiful" are jumping out. If it were about people, they would always want to be together. "Good" means doing what is right, aligning with God's will. "pleasant" means enjoying oneself and bringing pleasure to God. "Beautiful" means doing something beautiful that brings joy to both God and people. Those who are engaged in such work are fortunate. However, even if not, those who are grateful to God and praise Him are even more blessed.   　May I be able to walk closely with the Lord today.　 God bless you.   See you tomorrow.  

『ハレルヤ。 　まことに　われらの神にほめ歌を歌うのは良い。 　まことに楽しく　賛美は麗しい。』   　「良い」、「楽しい」、「麗しい」という言葉が躍っています。人ならば、いつも一緒に過ごしたいことでしょう。「良い」とは、正しい事、神の御心に適う事なんでしょうね。「楽しい」とは、自分が楽しめて、神様にも喜んでもらえる事なんでしょうね。「麗しい」とは、美しい事、神にも人にも喜んでもらえる事なんでしょうね。そういう仕事についてる人は、幸いですね。が、そうでなくても、神に感謝し、神を褒めたたえる人は、もっと幸いな人なんでしょうね。   　今日も、主に寄り添うことができますように・・・。

「The Lord builds up Jerusalem; 　He gathers together the outcasts of Israel.」 Amen.   　It depicts a scene of a dispersed people being reassembled. The Psalms seem to have been written between about 1440 B.C. and 586 B.C. Nehemiah returned to Jerusalem and repaired the walls around 445 BC. This seems to be the prophecy. Also, in 70 A.D. the Israelites were scattered, but in 1948 A.D. the scattered people were gathered and the nation of Israel was rebuilt. It seems to me that this is a prophecy.   　May we be thankful for the grandeur of the Lord's plan today...　 God bless you.   See you tomorrow.

「【主】はエルサレムを建て 　イスラエルの散らされた者たちを集められる。」   　離散していた民が再び集められる情景が描かれています。詩篇が書かれたのは紀元前１４４０年頃から紀元前５８６年の間のようです。ネヘミヤがエルサレムに帰還して、城壁を直したのは、紀元前４４５年頃でした。その預言のように思えます。また、紀元後70年にイスラエルの民は散らされましたが、紀元後１９４８年に、散らされた民が集められ、イスラエルの国が再建されました。その預言にも思えます。   　今日も、主のご計画の壮大さに感謝できますように・・・。
