「My eyes are awake through the night watches,

　That I may meditate on Your word.」　Amen.

　Does the author of this psalm wake up even earlier than the time of morning prayer? It seems like they awaken before the night watchmen change their shifts, before the break of dawn. I guess this has become a morning routine. Blessed are those who start their day with Bible reading, prayer, and meditation. Those who meditate on God's Word early in the morning will have a blessed day.
