「What ails you, O sea, that you fled?

　O Jordan, that you turned back?」　Amen.

　There were two great miracles of God before the Israelites left Egypt and entered the promised land of Canaan, to a land flowing with milk and honey. The first miracle was the parting of the Red Sea, and the second was the stopping of the Jordan River. So they were all able to walk across the dry sea bottom on the dry river bottom. When we leave the world of increasing sin and enter into God's world of overflowing grace, we can witness the miracles of God.

  May we keep our hearts focused on the Lord's work today.
