I have been following Shaun for a long time on Instagram and always found his advice to be the most real, honest, and practical out of all love coaches online. One of his podcasts from a couple years that spoke about it’s okay to mourn the love life you wish you had and get away from society’s expectations of getting married by a certain age. It really hit me. It’s okay to be a little lonely but still maintain your self-worth in relationships. Shaun also hosts occasional retreats which I’m hoping to attend one day. Overall listening to Shaun has been incredibly helpful in my journey to find love while also embracing singlehood.

Great podcast - love the topics - would love Shaun to dive more into his sexual experiences to help shine light and normalize straight men exploring their sexuality and curiosity and how that doesn’t always change orientation.

Liked Sean until I saw him liking a post implying that women who get raped by trans women, then are forced in court to call them by their pronouns, and women who don’t want to undress in front of them, deserve the consequences. Finding out he thinks state sanctioned sexual assault is acceptable is really disturbing and disgusting.

Hearing your deep soul livening breaths during these chats… is the hottest thing ever. Crushing on your voice and messages. Every time you do the deep breath… it’s like you hug all the butterflies that live in my stomach lol anyways… constantly listening to your message every day! I discovered this podcast through the “Pep Talk:Open Up To Love” episode. I found it relatively soon after a year-long relationship with someone. I was tired of dating the same emotionally unavailable people and listened to this podcast as part of my work to determine my attachment style. This podcast has shown me that opening up more and being honest regarding my needs early on in a relationship is not only okay, but encouraged. I have established healthy boundaries and I am no longer afraid to expect reciprocity in a relationship. I recently found something that I think is finally more securely attached and cannot wait to see what the future holds 💕Thank you for being part of that journey and helping me learn more about myself 🤗

As I’ve been working on myself, my relationships have been shifting and it’s been really helpful to listen to this podcast - Shaun’s perspective helps to ground me in what I do already know on some level to be true, but it’s like having one of your most grounded, trusted friends remind you what you need to hear in shakey moments, even if makes you squirm a little. I also love the moments when he tears up at sweet things - love having more examples of gentle, sensitive, confident, direct men in the world.

I felt as though you were speaking to me in regards to confirmation bias - looking for evidence that you are right that all the good ones are taken. Love and have listened to almost all episodes and I LOVE LOVE LOVE the insight and dialogue; however, I feel myself wanting a bit more. A bit more consistent content and theme, and maybe weekly and or biweekly interaction with listeners. ? It feels like, as a listener, we are unwittingly out in a position of “I should be more grateful for the “slower pace” of the airing of episodes than the host is for the attention of the audience…. Too harsh?! It’s all because of how much I want more of this show. I know! I know, after having heard host’s story on this show and when he tells it as a guest on other podcasts and social platforms, that is how much the host can handle at any given moment. But at some point, with great and all due respect, my time is valuable too, as a single mother of two, and I would appreciate a consistent or more predictability for us listeners. Thanks for all you do. I appreciate this podcast so much.

So glad I found Shaun’s work! One of the most impactful things I’ve learned from him is accepting the inevitable awkwardness that comes from having hard conversations in dating. Seems so simple, but I’m 37 and that was a revelation to me 😂 I’ve often tolerated a passive stance when I felt like I wanted to get clarity from the person I was dating because I didn’t want to go through the awkwardness of it all. With Shaun’s insight I now see it as just a part of the deal and push through. I recently practiced this with the person I’m dating and it was such a positive conversation (we’re exclusive now) and yes, a little awkward too! But even if it had been a different outcome, I still would have felt really good about showing up for myself like that. Being honest with ourselves and others and from there letting things unfold is what Shaun is all about. Give him a listen!

I found Shaun on TikTok. He speaks my language. After being married for over 20years I am happily dating again. His no nonsense style of communication meshes well with my style. What started as just watching the ig reels turned into an avid podcast listener (which speaks volumes because I’m typically unable to stay engaged with audio platforms). I’m a very feeling and loving person and since listening to the love drive I’m more unashamed of making my needs known and not settling for situations that don’t serve me - in romantic, platonic, and even work relationships. I listen on Spotify but downloaded the podcast app just to write this review, this guy deserves it. To keep it simple- the podcast is by far my favorite. Shaun’s advice is real, blunt, and somehow comical. I never find myself zoning out. You stay engaged in every episode. He leaves room to explore others opinions/views and I love that. I had been waiting for this type of content for many years. He isn't a typical love guru that says what you should do - like if love was like baking a cake, contrary he helps you listen to your best advisor - yourself - and connect with your true. Being left for another woman after investing 10 years into a verbally abusive relationship is hard. Which left me feeling a little uneasy in my currents needs and wants, even just knowing how to try to date again. Listening to Shauns podcasts when the nights get a little too quiet and my mind begins to race truly helped me navigate my emotions of what to expect and ask for. It showed me it’s ok to want a passionate, sexual, fulfilling relationship and that most likely the people you try to date won’t be able to fill those needs. Shaun came into my life at the right time.

The Love Drive is an extremely well done podcast - Shaun is so down to earth and vulnerable, it’s like having a very good friend tell you all the things you need to hear that no one else will. Even if you don’t need relationship guidance (which is definitely great), listen for comedic talent. Shaun’s style is also so down to earth and relatable, he makes having difficult relationship conversations with your SO much less daunting.

I love Shaun’s podcast, for me is so refreshing to hear so much honesty about sex, relationships, dating, humans in general things that you “should know” but are discovering as an adult.
