The logical fallacy of Equivocation is one of those fallacies that is often easy to spot, but in some cases flies completely under the radar. Equivocation is often pivotal to propaganda and political manipulation
The recent attempt by Democrats to use the term court-packing to refer to the imminent approval of Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court is an example of equivocation. And, frankly, a very poor attempt on their part. They followed it up by attempting to redefine the term as “depoliticization.” An equally egregious attempt to manipulate the public.
I also discussed the state of California, as well as few other short clips including a segment by Kyle Kulinski on an argument for universal single payer healthcare.
