As I learned through my masters as well as through my self-practice of mindfulness and meditation, here are few pointers for you to know:
1. Mindfulness is being aware of something, you notice or pay attention to any object ( how the food is, its texture, smell, taste), process (how you breathe), behavior or emotion ( HOw do I feel?). YOu are in the present moment. You can practice mindfulness throughout the day.
2. Meditation is awareness of nothing, connecting to higher consciousness.
3. YOu practice at some allocated time. However, there are various types of meditation where you focus on some object to just be an observer.
Overall, as you practice, you will find that they both are intertwined to some extent and support each other and ultimately enrich human life. It's a journey of knowing NOTHING to having AWARENESS of NOTHINGNESS.
In this journey of knowing self, I could find my purpose of existence. I exist to help people to connect to the POWER of their Breath, overcome stress & anxiety, attain holistic fitness with mental peace, and spread breath awareness to their families and societies.
