80| "5 Things I learned on Sabbatical."

When life got too busy I did something about it and that was when I was on the the brink of burnout in the midst of a move during our busiest travel month of the year and the Lord whispered to rest and take time off. When I finally made the decision to rest so much peace was released. I really felt the Lord tell me to rest, move into my new home, help my family find rhythms in our new space, invite people into our home. Home is the right word for it. Routines and rhythms in the new place attuned to my children, to help my husband rest after and excited and stressful year opening 2 new businesses. We enjoyed decorating, resting and all the fun things that come around the holidays. It was such a gift to me and my family to take this time to rest, so I want to tell you the 5 lessons that I learned from my sabbatical.
