This episode looks at new research - the largest comparison ever conducted on how assisted reproductive technology impacts twin births. This was a large study looking at all twin babies born in the USA from 2015-2017, and it compared how well the twins and their mothers were doing based on fertility treatment. There were three groups:
1) Natural conception
2) IUI or ovulation-inducing meds
3) IVF or ICSI
The study results brought some relief and some cause for concern.
