What words if any do you find you are comfortable with to identify your challenges and/or disabilities. If you’re a parent, caregiver or therapist, etc how would you like to see the world identifying your child or the person that you work with? Feel free to reach out to me on Instagram and let me know! As a person with a disability the weather is a challenge for me. If it’s summer I got overheated easily and if it’s winter I get cold very easily so I share my experience with that.

In this episode you’ll hear my thoughts about my process of accepting my disability. It’s still a work in progress but I am very open about my journey. Also if you listen closely, in the middle of the episode the jingling that you hear in the background is Edison doing a nice little stretch and shaking it out! :-)

So thrilled to have Emily on to share her story. She also lives with a physical disability and shares what it’s like for her. She also talks about the Americans with Disabilities Act. It just passed its 30th anniversary and we wanted to celebrate it.
