In episode 32 (along with episode 31) of Your Creative Force, we are taking a deep dive into the topic of Creative Leadership even further. We are looking more in depth at the exact whys and hows associated with Creative Leadership. Since Creative Leadership has not been considered an official form of leadership in most high profile industries for a very long time, it is a fairly new concept for many leaders, especially those who have been myopically stooped in older styles of leadership, like leadership by means of Scientific Management, Autocratic Leadership or Laissez-Faire types of leadership styles (pease listen to episode 31 to learn more about the context of Leadership Styles from past to present). The older leadership styles are still relevant in certain leadership contexts, which Avianne explains in greater detail, but they are no longer effective without implementing them under the umbrella of Creative Leadership. No leader operates in isolation. Good leaders have good teams that enable effective results in a business and in today's world, this may even affect the longevity of a business as a whole. Creative leadership is a secret weapon, Avianne believes, that every true leader should have in their arsenal. This is part 2 of a 2 part series on the topic of why and how exactly there is tremendous power in practicing Creative Leadership.Connect with Avianne at www.ArtByAvianne.com and www.TakeArtClasses.com. In episode 31 (along with episode 32) of Your Creative Force, Avianne is taking a deep dive into the topic of Creative Leadership. Unlike what most people perceive it to be, it isn’t something that just automatically happens: Creative Leadership needs to be intentional. It is also not about outlandish behaviors or a deeply spiritual process in leadership. Rather it is about wielding our Creative Force as a leader with great accuracy, practicality, deliberately, maturely and while utilizing wisdom. A visionary leader in any industry, who knows how to wield the power of Creative Leadership effectively and with intent, will have a much better chance at succeeding on all fronts in business than a leader who does not. In part 1 of this 2 part series, we look closely at what Creative Leadership really is and why being flexible is so important to a Creative Leader. Leaders who are for all practical purposes isolated or narrow minded, outdated or stiff in their leadership approach, in today’s world, however creative or edgy they may think they are, will not have the results they ultimately could have if they were willing to embrace this leadership style in their businesses. This is part 1 of a 2 part series on the topic of why and how exactly there are tremendous power in practicing Creative Leadership.Connect with Coach Avianne at www.ArtByAvianne.com, www.TakeArtClasses.com, on FB atwww.Facebook.com/AvianneCreativeForce and https://www.facebook.com/TheRealAvianne. In business, just like in our general walk of life, we come across people who can be what Avianne calls Drama Queens and Ego Kings. In episode 30 of Your Creative Force, Avianne discusses and analyzes these two types of individuals, how we can recognize them and why and how we should deal with them effectively if we wish to enjoy doing business efficiently and free from unnecessary issues. When we learn to recognize and then how to address scenarios involving a Drama Queen or Ego King, we avoid so many of the pitfalls that come with certain personality flaws or dysfunctional situations. If we fail to recognize or deal with these individuals in a productive way, they can usurp our business environment with a lot of exhausting and stressful situations, resulting from them behaving like they are starring in their own theater production at work or simply obstructing or delaying projects in infuriating ways, instead of rather having them getting the work done and get on with the day to day operations in a streamlined way like all other team members do. Strategies in circumventing Drama Queen behavior by not feeding into it are assessed. The expertise of world famous boundary expert, Dr. Henry Cloud is also called upon in discussing how creating better boundaries may help us succeed at dealing with Ego Kings in the business environment.Connect with Avianne at www.ArtByAvianne.com, www.TakeArtClasses.com and on Facebook at www.Facebook.com/AvianneCreativeForce and www.facebook.com/TheRealAvianne.
