I’m so grateful for this journey, alhamdulillah, and I pray to continue it this episode it’s all about being unapologetically Muslim in spaces that I don’t necessarily feel is excepted, now, there’s only one example of being the best, Muslim we can possibly be. I truly believe my Prophet Muhammad swa is that. I do understand that we all are unique. That is the way Allah made us, and so the way we are unapologetically. Muslim looks different based upon many factors so I wanted to share part one of being unapologetically Muslim with you, because this chapter 1 is almost over.

You better believe them unapologetically a black Muslim and that is because God made me that way and I am grateful.

I realized that I didn’t deserve to be a Muslim, but God made me one anyway, and for that, I will forever be in debt to the one, the true artist, Allah. This journey is so beautiful to reflect on. I pray it is helpful and connect to your soul deeply as I peak back the layers of my life.

We all look for ways of resolving our past or our present issues that we experience this series is to help you reflect in this

I actually converted in Ramadan of 2015. This is just a slight reflection on that and it’s Ramadan. I will be sharing my connection to Ramadan in the resolve. It brings so will be taking a pause on telling the story to really focusing on our intention for Ramadan, and how to come out the other side renewed inshallah.

We have to learn to accept every part of my journey and learn to listen to our hearts, fully our heart of our heart that inner spiritual essence that is a compass to all things that are true, good and pure.
