This week we meet Brandy Lidbeck, a licensed therapist whose work focuses on healing from the impact of suicide. Her book, The Gift of Second; healing from the impact of Suicide, is endorsed by The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention as one of the top resources after a suicide. A video she made in encouraging all of us to be aware of our language around the subject got picked up by The Mighty in 2016. Kari was an admirer from afar, utilizing Brandy’s blog and book as resources to teach others about suicide loss and to show people that they’re not alone.
