I've listened to your Patrice compilation probably several dozen times. Your podcast contains some of his best clips and is a great jumping off point for new fans. I've been brought to tears by the end a few times. He's one of those guys, when I listen to him, I truly feel like I knew him (even though he probably would've hated my guts). His honesty and ability to distill complex ideas into clear wisdom is unrivaled. Realest comic of all time.

Thank you for the episode about Elliott Smith. It is the best documentary about him I have ever listened. Amazing job!

Keith is the rock star of introspection and meta cognition of the modern day. He is genuine, always careful to accurately relay his tormented, or sometimes love-encompassing experience in his daily life as well as compiled 30 something years, and is courageous as anyone could hope to be! He will blow you away with thoughts and music. GO KEITH!!

This radio show is absolutely NOTHING like This American Life. I could not get into it at all. It doesn't even fit the category of "personal journals". It is unlistenable, don't waste your time or the storage space on your computer/ipod.

This is a wonderful podcast. The music is awesome and helps to further convey his emotions. It's basically about different life experiences he has and his thoughts about life and what it means. Maybe for some who don't care so much for this podcast think that a look into the day to day experiences of another human is boring, but I find it fascinating. His storytelling style is raw and real; you can feel the emotion in his voice. Keep em coming!

I don't want to bash this show, but it is improperly described. They need to change their description, even if it loses hits as a result.

I like how he completely ripped off Elliott Smith's album artwork for XO. And by like, I mean have complete disdain for.

I'm not saying this show is bad. It's fine. But it is NOTHING like This American Life. It isn't even like a SEGMENT of This American Life. It's not edited. It's not thought out. It's just a guy rambling and ranting. If you want to hear a quality podcast that really IS similarly structured to This American Life, I encourage you to check out WNYC's Radiolab. Now that is a well planned show!

I will admit that it may take a little while to get accustomed to Keith McNally's style, the audio isn't always perfect and he is not really aiming to please anyone but himself. That being said I think it is a completely worthwhile listen because what he is offering here is an interesting and often touching look behind the masks we wear everyday. This is the type of show you will want to start listening to now just so that you can say you knew Keith when he was underground.

One of those rare podcast that is so good on content, yet has none of the 'formula' feel to it. Episodes from life captured beautifully in speech and music, it's funny and thought provoking at the same time. Love it !!!

Not even close to TAL. The content is quite honestly garbage, I listened to the first 2 episodes in their entirety and will never listen to another.
