In part 1 of our 3 part Christmas season event, we sit down to discuss "Rare Exports: A Christmas Tale". This Finnish-made film follows a young boy as he discovers the truth about Santa Claus when a mysterious firm known as Subzero begins an excavation of a mountain known as Korvatuntori near his home and threatens to release an ancient evil upon the world. If it sounds great, it's because it is.

This week we're talking about Shaft- er, ah, well, the episode is mostly about Black Dynamite, Michael Jai White's fantastic comedic throwback to 70's Blaxploitation cinema from 2009. But there's also a pretty sizable amount of Shaft jammed in this- uh- I'm saying that for whatever reason Ryan and I couldn't stop talking about Shaft during this episode.  the character, if I'm not being clear.
