The mission of Creators Assemble is to raise awareness about the value of comics, graphic novels, and pop culture in education and literacy. The organization provides tangible support to educators and librarians who want to use these kinds of materials in educational settings. The organization also facilitates connections and resources to help creators find professional opportunities in comics and pop culture. Our guests are Moni Barrette, co-founder, and Dan Wood, board member and a principal librarian in charge of Literacy & Youth Services at the Escondido Public Library.
