“Writing-shmiting “he’s just a Smart funny guy!
Okay, Cort makes me laugh with his brutal honest, approach and maybe learn from his mistakes. He stays on his lesson of “do’s and don’t s” of being a professional clown but possibly writing a novel in the end.(run-on sentence write? er. right?).
I cut myself shaving when hearing his sly point of view with sources being only his perspective. Hate him for the cut on my chin, but definitely love the podcast. Keep writing and podcasting.

Heidi Marble author of Waiting for Wings
As a writer trying to compete a manuscript Cortney’s podcast gave me an opportunity to get out of my own head. His wit, vocal delivery and humor hit me in the heart. Writers need to encourage other writers!!!!! Thank you Cortney you have a new fan!

My poetry degree may have been wasted but...
Cortney has a velvety voice that sounds like a tall glass of whiskey over rocks. And he delivers just the kind of insight and humor you’d expect to be paired with it. I find his topics, truths, and anecdotes translatable to far more than just writing. We’re all just trying to figure “it” out, and Cortney makes that journey seem at least a little less daunting.

Witty, inspirational and personal- I am truly enjoying listening to this podcast! As someone who is not a writer by any stretch, this podcasts makes me want to put pen to paper! Heartfelt and meaningful, I look forward to hearing more! Bravo.

Best writing narrative since Stephen King’s “On Writing”
I love this podcast. Hamilton is insightful, sincere, and has the velvety voice of an angel—not a boring angel, like preachy and annoying—the kind of angel you would meet alone, late at night, in a dark bar. Again, not like the shinning. Ugh, you get the gist, give it a listen!

My teenagers are even hooked
Loved listening to this podcast. I love to write for fun and was looking for something to encourage my one teenager to push himself further. And yes, this talked about finding an agent, asking questions but they took so much from this podcast and are ready to ask their teachers questions, feedback and more. The one, I think realizes now he shouldn’t beat himself up over his writing. We found this entertaining and we wanted to keep listening!!!

Loved this podcast and can’t wait for more! True insight into the writer’s struggles, but with laughs and humor to keep it light. Looking forward to future episodes!

Fascinating edutainment!
I am loving this podcast! I'm not a writer, but this is fascinating & existentially humorous for everyone. I also have low tolerance for most podcast, but I'm HOOKED. I want to know what happens next! It's like a backdoor to the world of writers.

Amazing listen! Just what I needed!
This podcast was just what I needed in this insane time. So funny, true, and real! A very good reminder to keep exposing yourself to the world whether they want to see it or not! I can’t wait for more episodes because- while I may not be a writer- I can relate to the wild ride of life and self discovery! Okay- I put way too many exclamation points but that’s just how I feel about this podcast! :)

sure, it's my podcast, but I love it!
okay, honestly, I've learned more from other podcasts, but I've also napped during those podcasts, too. so, I'm torn.
Think of this one like tapas for your writing palate, enough to entice and savor, but not overwhelming, so when you're finished, you still feel energetic enough to be up for sex with your muse.
