The same Elijah who faced 450 prophets ran into the wilderness, overwhelmed, exhausted, and convinced he was alone. Victory one day, despair the next — and honestly, that feels a lot like real life. Here’s the part that blesses me: God didn’t rebuke Elijah for being afraid. He restored him. He sent an angel with food. He let Elijah rest. He spoke gently. He reminded him of purpose. He revealed that Elijah was never alone — God had preserved a remnant, and He still had plans for Elijah’s life. Sometimes we think spiritual strength means we should never feel tired, discouraged, or afraid. But Elijah shows us that even the strongest warriors have breaking points — and God meets us there with compassion, not condemnation. If you’re in a Mount Carmel season, celebrate God’s power. Simon, from the city of Cyrene, carried the cross of Jesus after it was placed upon him. Though the burden was unexpected, his act of service became part of the story of Christ’s journey to the cross. Simon’s faithfulness also left a meaningful legacy for his sons, Alexander and Rufus, who later became active workers in the early church following the resurrection of Jesus.

The Israelites stood trapped — the Red Sea in front of them, Pharaoh’s army thundering behind them. No path forward, no path back. By every human measure, they were finished. Drowning or destruction seemed like their only options. But they cried out to the Lord. And the God who hears, sees, and delivers stepped in. He didn’t just make a way — He created a path no one had ever seen before. He parted the Red Sea and led His people through on dry ground, silencing every threat behind them.

There are moments in life when people’s actions cut deep — when motives are questioned, trust is broken, and harm feels intentional. But even then, God has a way of stepping into the very places meant to break us and turning them into platforms that build us. “You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good…” Genesis 50:20 What a reminder that no plot, no betrayal, no setback can override the purpose of God. He is the Master of divine reversals. He takes what was meant to destroy you and transforms it into the very thing that elevates you. Joseph didn’t just survive the harm — he outgrew it, outlived it, and outlasted it. And in the end, God used his pain to save many lives. Your story isn’t over. Your hurt isn’t wasted. We celebrate a Savior who walks straight into troubled places with peace, authority, and love. When Jesus rode into Jerusalem, the city was filled with tension, fear, and uncertainty—yet He came anyway. Not on a war horse, but on a donkey… a symbol of peace. In a world shaken by political division, rising costs, global conflict, and the unknowns of tomorrow, Palm Sunday whispers this truth: Your King still comes to you. He comes with peace, not panic. With strength, not fear. With a kingdom that cannot be shaken. So today, lay down your worries like they laid down their cloaks. Lift up your hope like they lifted their palms. And trust that the same Jesus who faced His darkest week will carry you through yours. Hosanna—Lord, save us now… and He will.

Let us exercise faith by stop focusing on the problems that is before us and focus on what is above us. As we navigate through the problems in life, let’s ask ourselves these three questions: Is God good? Is God good to me? Do I trust God to be God?

The spies all saw the same land—rich, fruitful, overflowing with promise. But they didn’t all see it the same way. Some saw giants, walls, and impossibilities. Caleb saw God’s faithfulness, God’s power, and God’s promise. 📖 “Let us go up at once and take possession, for we are well able to overcome it.” But the men who had gone up with him said, “We are not able to go up against the people, for they are stronger than we.” Two reports. One rooted in fear. One rooted in faith.

As we enter 2026, let us be intentional about making real, lasting changes in our lives. This is the year to move beyond settling for temporary solutions or makeshift fixes. Instead of accepting quick remedies, let us commit ourselves to purposeful actions that lead to meaningful progress and greater accomplishments. By choosing steady growth over shortcuts, we position ourselves to experience true transformation and lasting impact throughout the year.
