His experiences and well researched stories are so informative you are sure to learn something special from him and his guests.

Ted is one of the greatest minds in the haunt industry. He’s knowledgeable about the roots of Halloween and horror, and he’s a great interviewer as well. I’m hoping this podcast will continue for years to come!

Amazing podcast and unprecedented peek behind the scenes at the theme park Halloween industry! Ted is a gem, so informative and has the experience so back it. So fun!

The creator of this podcast, and its moderator, is a true legend in the haunt industry. Ted Dougherty has been instrumental in the foundation of many haunted attractions throughout the US, including Knotts Scary Farm, the LA Haunted Hayride, and many others. He knows of what he speaks. So what we’re getting here is the real story from someone who really knows, not a tourist. But even more, Ted is a fascinating interviewer and storyteller. I could really listen to him for a very long time! And this podcast has a number of different sections in each show, e.g., a “blueprint” of horror (how it’s done), the interview, history, all in an easily digestible length. I love listening to each part! Finally, Ted just has a captivating way of saying things – you can tell what a great storyteller he is, and what a great scare actor he was. I highly recommend this podcast, and I can’t wait for each episode!

I’m so excited that Ted has launched a new podcast. The first two episodes have been incredible. Ted’s enthusiasm for Halloween, haunts, and history beams through the headphones of every episode. Jon and Lisa were great special guests providing unique perspectives into Halloween.

This has been a long time coming. Being around Ted, reading his work and seeing his creative genius, this is the perfect next step for him to bring the haunt attraction world to the masses. Having Jon as his first guest was the perfect call. There can be so many egos in this industry and Jon has always been humble about his work. Loved the initial podcast. Can’t wait to see what is next. A small personal story about Ted. He started a small website years and years ago called ultimate haunt.com. This website is responsible for me meeting my wife. Over 20 years later, I still owe Ted for meeting the light of my life.

This is exactly what I want from a spooky podcast! Great structure, great content, and great pacing. Host, Ted Dougherty does a really good job keeping the show moving along and keeping the listener interested. The interview is sandwiched in between topics that are relevant and interesting. Ted has a voice and cadence that works perfectly for a podcast format. The first episode has captured my attention and I can’t wait for more episodes. If you love all things spooky, this is the podcast for you!
