The scroll represented some incredibly important “unfinished business” that needed to be taken care of in order for all of the promises and prophecies of the Bible to remain true.All I can say is that as we move on in the passage, John’s weeping stops, and by the end of the chapter, all of heaven breaks out into a hallelujah explosion!
