This week, we begin a new sermon series - The Gospel According to Mister Rogers. Using examples from the real-life Fred Rogers, we learn about forgiveness.

This week, we begin a new sermon series - The Gospel According to Mister Rogers. Using examples from the real-life Fred Rogers, we learn about forgiveness. 

God created us with the willingness to give - we are hard-wired to be generous. BUT, the voice that we listen to tells us we need to fear not having enough. The voice of self-gratification and fear drown out the voice of generosity.

We go in looking for contentment in stuff, and the stuff wears out… we then become discontent and search for things that make us happy.  Church is similar, at first we are thrilled with it but the new wears off and we begin complaining. How do we deal with this?

No matter how much we get, it never feels like we have enough. What do we do when it feels like our dreams become nightmare and what we have isn't enough anymore?
