Adventurous is the first word that comes to mind when I think of Juliet Kosarzycki. Mastery is another. Inspiring yet another. I’m curious to see if you walk away with the same feeling after listening to this episode.
Juliet has visited 49 countries and will be visiting her 50th this year!
When considering a new quest or new approach, her mantra is “I’m somebody who…(fill in the blank)"…can and will practice for and run a marathon, enjoys trying new foods in different countries, looks forward to climbing to the peak of a mountain.
She believes that the Universe brings to her what she’s asking for and is, therefore, thoughtful about her requests.
And SO much more.
In this episode, you’ll hear Juliet’s positive and uplifting energy. Through her way of being in the world, she unintentionally, or maybe intentionally, challenges others to shake life up a little, try new things, explore, discover, and enjoy more adventures.

What feelings come up when you think about being silent with yourself and creating space for silence in conversation?
We have a tendency to fill our days with activities and to multi-task because ...there just aren’t enough hours to get everything done... leaving little to no time to be still, to be with ourselves, with our thoughts and with our emotions. We also have a tendency to fill the silence in conversation with others.
In this episode, we explore a different approach as well as what happens when you give yourself the opportunity to get comfortable with silence and with not having the answers. There is a wonderful sense of freedom and insight within that stillness.

A couple of weeks ago, when I was grocery shopping, I noticed that I had this rushed feeling like I needed to get done with what I was doing so I could get on to the next thing. Only there wasn’t a next thing; I was simply going home and putting the groceries away. I noticed that same thing while taking a shower and getting ready afterward, and while making and eating breakfast, that rushed feeling.
It was a reminder that I want to be fully present in my life and that means being intentional about slowing down.
How about for you? What’s your indication that it’s time to slow down so you can be more present in your life? What are the things that start happening?
In this episode, I share some things to consider when you can sense that it's time to take a step back so you can just be.

When someone is retiring or moving on to another job, we write notes and cards, maybe send flowers or take someone out to lunch. We compliment their work or how their kindness made a difference. Perhaps let them know we’ll miss them, and hope that we’ll stay in touch. What if we made the same effort before someone is on their way out? What if we made it a practice to share with others what we respect and appreciate about them?
Your sincere words of appreciation will make a difference. You might even create a domino effect, where the person you compliment is inspired to do the same for someone else. Put a little kindness and gratitude out there in the Universe on a regular basis. You’ll make someone’s day and, in the process, be part of making the world a better place.

After more than a year of working from home through the pandemic, engaging in work is never far away. It’s right there on your laptop or your phone. It’s blended into your home life. Even as people are going back into the workplace, technology makes work ever present, so it’s important to have boundaries, to be able to turn the work off at the end of the day, put it aside and enjoy your personal life.
We know work-life balance is pretty darn important for most employees. It ranks second only to compensation. In this episode, I share 10 ideas for how you, as a leader, can set an example for healthy work-life balance. First, it’s helpful if you truly believe that it's important, both for quality work outcomes and for your own and your employees’ health and well-being.

We’re talking about advice. It’s one of those things we like to give, but don’t always like to receive. It’s so tempting to give advice, but in the end, it feels better to put that desire aside, to be fully present, to listen, and to walk alongside someone ~ rather than lead ~ as they find their own answers.
In today's episode, we focus on how to help others discover their own expertise to solve a problem rather offering up advice. Most often, the best way for you to help is to start with the knowledge that you don’t need to have the answers and to be genuinely curious and ask open-ended questions that can help the other person get clarity.

June is Pride month! It's about recognizing the impact that the LGBTQ+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer) community has had locally and across the world. It's about being inclusive and honoring others for who they are. We all want that for ourselves ~ for others to honor who we are, invite us in, and recognize the ways we contribute to making the world a better place. In this episode, I share a brief history of Pride Month and the 1969 uprising that led to the gay rights movement. It’s a reminder that you can unfairly and unjustly push people only so far before they start to fight back and demand that they be respected as fellow human beings. Together, let’s continue to lead the way in recognizing and honoring others for who they are and seeing our own humanity in one another.
