In a 1950s style "Leave it to Beaver" sitcom, Max finds himself re writing the script of his life as he realizes the error of his ways and commits to being a better friend and person to those around him.

Max attempts to find Maggie in the Hospital with Patrick’s help, but the appearance of Maggie’s baby daddy threatens everything.

The charade is over! An explosive fight erupts when Dorothy confronts Max and Maggie with the truth, resulting in the identity of the Father being revealed, and both Maggie and Max going into labour.

Patrick shows up at Max’s apartment and confronts him about lying. Maggie apologizes and defends Max. Patrick believes them and they decide to talk more when an unexpected visitor arrives.

Max visits Maggie in Elliot Lake to tell her he is pregnant too. They reconcile and return to Toronto where Maggie convinces Max to go after Patrick and come clean, but things don’t go as planned.

In the style of "A Christmas Carol," The Divine brings Max through Christmas past, present and future to convince him that telling the truth to Maggie will set both of them free.

Max and Maggie are closing up the record store. In the present, Max and Maggie discuss their Lamaze class and whether or not they will attend. Maggie confronts Max about spending time with Patrick, and Max admits that he likes him.

Max speaks for the first time at AA, while Dorothy and Maggie have a conversation about how Dorothy will be involved in the baby's life. After AA, Patrick walks Max home and educates him on ableism.

Patrick educates Max about his disability. A run-in with his best friend, Kyle, leaves Max flustered and a miscommunication with Patrick starts a big development in their relationship.

The new family takes a Lamaze class with hunky instructor Patrick, which results in Max having coffee with him, unbeknownst to Maggie. Max also starts to notice his body doing something very weird.
