I love this podcast, despite being 30 without kids (although I do love children’s books anyway). For the grammar nerds, this is the absolute superlative of book podcasts.

Books, snacks, and puns—what more could anyone want? They say it’s for kids, but I’m a 20-something grad student and I can’t get enough of the book recommendations, author interviews, and gloriously witty nonsense. If you want a bookish podcast to brighten your day, you’ve come to the right place.

My 8 & 9 year olds beg to listen every time we get in the car.

They said that this would be good for ages up to 12 and then good once your 42 again! I’m 14 and I loved the episodes I’ve listened to so far! They’re so fun, funny, and clever! The idea is genius, and the podcasts entertaining! And all of the authors brought on are great! And so are the books being read! Good job WITHY WINDLE!

This is the foremost podcast for any man, woman or child. I f you are not listening to this impeccable, engaging and unrivaled auditory experience, beware!!! Your ears quite possibly will revolt and pledge their allegiance to this renowned endeavor.

My family found and started this podcast towards the beginning of 2022 and quickly fell in love with it! We have been joining in with the books they are reading also and are now in the middle of season 3 and The Phantom Tollbooth. We recommend this to all families who love books and enjoy laughing—my four teenagers are huge fans!!

Hooray! A podcast that is entertaining and engaging for kids, and not the least bit annoying for adults.

Let’s get on with the nonsense!!! Our whole family loves Withywindle. Partly the best book club for kids (their training wheels are unobtrusive…they introduce literary devices and deep conversation effortlessly, in a kid-friendly way that teaches so gently) and partly author interviews (we have found many wonderful books based on their recommendations!) but the heart of it all is the personality. It’s pure silliness…wonderful, hilarious and witty. The ongoing jokes and sound effects have become a part of our family vernacular and we all love listening together. Thank you David, Graeme, Logan and all! We look forward to every episode!

I feel late to the game, but that just means that for a few weeks, we get to start our homeschool days with this fun podcast that makes us groan…and laugh. The interviews have been spectacular, and they have inspired all sorts of creativity in my kids (ages 8, 11, 14, and 15).

We have enjoyed each episode. My 6 year old is on board for the jokes - even he ones he doesn’t quite get! My 9, 12 & 13 year olds enjoy all of it and my husband and I have really enjoy the author interviews. It’s clean, funny and interesting. Aspiring writers and voracious readers alike will appreciate it!

My guys (8, 11, 13, 15) laughed SO MUCH. We love this book podcast with all our widdershins.

We only recently started listening to this new podcast and we all love it!! (I and 4 kids ages 6-13) My kids have asked to continue listening multiple times already and We highly recommend it after just a couple episodes. I am so excited this studio has created such a wonderful and funny show for kids. We look forward to listening to many more episodes!

What a wonderful podcast for the whole family! My kids (ages 10, 8, and 6) really enjoy listening. The jokes, riddles, book club, and interviews are endlessly entertaining. We especially enjoy listening on road trips and talking about everything as we drive.

You should have shannon messenger who wrote keeper of the lost cities on the pod. Those and harry potter are my favorites! Also the wingfeather saga!

This podcast is so much fun!! My 10-year old LOVES it and can’t wait to listen to every new episode. The book discussions and author interviews are so good…just the thing my book-loving child needs. It has way more “meat” to it than an online book club class we’ve done (that costs money).

Silly jokes, words, books, author interviews, riddles. my kid would rather tidy the house and listen to this than sit and watch a movie. We both give it 5/5.

Unprompted, our little one said, “I’d give this podcast 10 out of 10 stars.” I’ve wondered how much she’d get it, but she is really enjoying it!
