I recently revisited Danielle LaPorte’s podcast after a hiatus…. listening to other podcasts, busy with life, etc., and somehow her material slipped through the cracks. I’m so glad I “found” her again. (Thank you Universe🙏🏽) Her material is richer, more authentic and grounded, deeper, wiser and more loving than ever. It is just what I need on a regular basis. Listening to her words and feeling her energy, I find myself saying out loud, over and over again, “I just love you!” She speaks directly to my soul. I listen to a lot of pods in the ‘compassion/self-help/move toward enlightenment’ genre but none are as good as this one. Danielle’s insights, coupled with her soothing voice and presence, is invaluable to my journey. She blends gentle advice from her own life experience with tapping into your own inner wisdom. Danielle's podcast's continually reminds me that the emotional pain I have been carrying around can be used as source of power. And with that power the ability to create more space to become more loving! Her rapturous, honest and virtuous voice has lulled me in for the past 4 1/2 years; she is an invaluable teacher for me. And as I grow and mature in earthly years, with Danielle's help and wisdom I have grown by leaps & bounds in my spiritual years. She's just awesome. Definitely do your heart and soul a huge favor and lean in and check her out!

All of her work, all the mantras, all the meditations, heart centered, the Desire Map and How to be loving…. It’s all perfect! It’s all based in Love! And she’s right, if it doesn’t resonate with you, turn it off. Has nothing to do with spreading fear, the point is get away from the labeling and fear messages and tune into your heart. Anyone who thinks otherwise should look within themselves regarding their own triggers. There’s so much overstimulation going on, the BEST idea is to turn it off, and let the mind be free. I’ve listened to this podcast for a few years now and have read Danielle’s books, but I feel as of late that some additional discernment is needed. I still get some good nuggets of wisdom, but am concerned that some messages of fear are being spread instead of discernment or empowerment. If you’re triggered by certain media messages in music, art, or the news, take the time to process what is being triggered instead of just turning it off and putting your head in the sand. I can assure you that if you process the difficult emotions that come up, you can handle certain types of media (sad songs, etc) with much more equanimity and power. Don’t put your head in the sand—turn to healing instead.

I’ve been on the spiritual path for over 35 years. Study, practice, ritual, retreat - all the stuff! And I have been working in the Healing Arts for nearly as long - real on the ground, hands on, warrior in the arena experience. I came to this podcast with a heavy dose of skepticism because of the glut of New Age spiritualism that has flooded soul-land over the last 20 years - wounded narcissists offering advice and claiming guru status for a hot minute until imploding and ultimately harming instead of helping. Why does my review here matter? It matters because we all matter in our humaneness. Danielle clearly gets that. She clearly gets that love is the revolution. She is a high caliber helper, a heart warming fire, the piercing pleasure of heart centered rapture. Do yourself and the world a favor and make her a good friend to the ear of your heart.
