We obtain wisdom from two primary sources: our own experience and the experience of others.  Sometimes we learn what to do and sometimes we learn what not to do.  As we gain wisdom from those who have gone before us, it is especially good to learn from those who are nearing the end of the journey so we can receive a perspective that few of us have as life culminates in so many ways.  Today we hear from John and Barbara Myers who have been married over 68 years and have served their church and community in so many ways.  They have two daughters and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

We live in a very broken world surrounded by many broken people who need the wisdom, life, and redemption of heaven.  God has specifically placed us in positions where we have the opportunity to influence people for the Kingdom of Heaven. There are many directions we can go as we navigate through the decision-making processes of life and not all of them lead to God's best.  Many times we let good things rob us of His best. In this episode, we look at who we are becoming through God's process rather than just focusing on what is to come.  It is important to ask yourself these two wise questions as part of this prayer process:  What's below your waterline? and Who's powering your boat?  Philippians 1:9-11
