Through his thought-provoking speeches and inspiring writing, René Carayol MBE has one of the most eminent minds on leadership across Europe. A visiting professor at the CASS business school, a regular columnist for the Sunday Times and an author of three distinguished books, it is often said that René has forgotten more than most of know about improving organisations through effective leadership.

For his WinTrade Global Talk, René acknowledges that the global pandemic offers an ongoing opportunity for progressive organisations.  Enabling them to take another look at their recruitment policies to see how better they reflect the societies in which they work – citing “Collaboration is the New Leadership”.

Through his positive outlook and using some of his own experiences, René tackles the unsaid, the difficult and the downright uncomfortable – offering an allegory that there was a time when organisations chose the talent, however, today, it is the talent who is choosing the organisation.

As a previous Chairman, CEO and board member of a global brand, René will use his vast experience to offer the tips he would offer to business. He will also use his humour and his trademark self-deprecating style to tackle some of the toughest and most provocative issues around leadership.
