I’ve always forgotten most medieval podcast from the so famous. I don’t wanna say their names but when I listen to yours, I can understand it better and I retain it there’s something magically about your oratory skills

Hey y’all! I’m a proud wife and (quite a cutie) mother of twins BUT UNFORTUNATELY I AM FROM TEXAS 🤬🥲 Please don’t hold that against me! lol All I can say is that I have loved history, especially English history since I was fortunate enough to go to Europe for 16 days the summer before I went into eighth grade. I went to 8 countries in 16 days around 1995. I have never felt so connected to actual history of the time when I passed out in the Colosseum because of heat, exhaustion, saw a ghost at I the tower of London or the other time I went to I felt Pure EVIL while at Dachau and Auschwitz. I was lucky student of history and I was lucky enough to be able to visit and understand just a little bit about what really happened in the past. I love all things English BABY! From MONTY PYTHON, Mr Bean, Austin Power’s and now THIS NEW PODCAST!!! HUGE LIVERPOOL FOOTBALL FAN just to rub salt in Manchester’s wound I LOVE British humor ,sarcasm, and I’ll be a LOYAL fan from here on out, so let’s go!!

Each episode informative, entertaining, on point with a smooth flow, and encapsulated within the subject, but transitional within the podcast series. Thank you for creating.

I finally found a podcast that delivers fact based information about the Monarchy that is not in a boring singsong monotone OR a silly comedy format. Thank you Mr.Higson for this fabulous podcast!

I’m loving this podcast - it’s already making me delve I to some areas of British history I don’t know enough about. The format - balancing Charlie’s storytelling with an expert historian - works really well. Looking forward to the rest of the series
