Wow. I wanted to listen to what sounded like an awesome podcast, but had to spend time listening to two women having a conversation about shows they watch/ want to watch, Diet Dr. Pepper, & other useless & uninteresting dribble. Come on!

This podcast is by far one of the best. Caroline and Susan are so personable and amazing hosts. This and Crime Junkies are the only crime podcasts I wait for new episodes like I’m a child waiting for candy. If you want awesome, funny, relatable hosts telling crimes that their passionate about this is the podcast!

Just listened to Triple Murders of Western North Carolina! The atmosphere y’all create is such a relaxed one. Can’t wait to see what else you dive into!

The last episode about Pauline “Daskin” is plagiarized from a BBC article from 2018. First, her real last name is Dakin, I’m guessing it was changed for the episode hoping that no one would catch it. Second, the entire episode is comprised of some bits paraphrased from the article and some paragraphs that were read word for word.

Wild and woke? This podcast has nothing to do with being woke. Social injustice isn’t cute. Woke isn’t a word that should be used out of context, especially for financial gain just because you’re not affected by/ don’t care about racial and social injustice. Sickening doesn’t even begin to describe the use of this word in the name of your not-so-woke podcast.

Love the podcast ladies 😍 makes my hour long commute go by so quickly.

This podcast is getting better with each episode! The hosts are presenting a range of topics and their style is flowing better with each and every episode. We are really getting to know them, their coughs, their animals, and the sarcastic shade thrown at their husbands every episode. To the hater a few reviews ago saying it's just listening to two people have a conversation -- DUH, dude. The most popular podcast in the nation, Joe Rogan, is just people sitting around having conversations and cracking jokes. This podcast also acts as a creeper-deterrant because I've been listening at the gym and LOL'ing in public getting strange looks from people. Love it.

I am not a fan… clearly others are or they were paid for. Maybe it’s their thing, but being unprepared to begin a podcast - like sound, adjusting microphones, interruptions, etc. It’s like two girls who are friends getting together and just recording their boring conversations. I wouldn’t want to be either of them, let alone listen in on their conversation. What got me is that the title of the podcast had me think that maybe this podcast was about something entirely different. I mean, “wild and woke”??? Somethings a miss here. Not for me.

I love hearing Helen’s Bridge stories! I, too, have crawled through the thick ivy and brush and through the hole in the fence onto the mansion property. I think where the mansion is now is where her house was before it burned. One year on the 4th of July I went there with some friends to watch fireworks, so we totally trespassed onto the mansion property. We experienced some weird stuff that night, but one of the things we saw was the lights flicker on and off in one of the rooms!! We were also stalked and approached by a fox which was super weird given how skittish foxes usually are. Maybe coincidence, who knows. I also dated a guy who went to Erwin and he said one of his coaches showed him video footage of like clocks falling off of walls randomly and who knows what else- it’s been too long to remember specifics. But I’m loving the podcast so much!!

You can tell the hosts know what their talking about and are GENUINELY interested in all things conspiracy and spooky! Love it! -Chloe
