We are sisters…by marriage... but sisters none the less. We LOVE to help others. It’s in our nature and it’s what keeps us going. We have learned that any hard thing we have endured has come and gone and left us with the ability to help others even more. We came upon life coaching many years ago and through our own transformations have helped ourselves, friends and clients and have joined together to reach more people. This podcast will teach your tools, give you knowledge and provide hope in every aspect of your life: health, relationships, spirituality and personal growth.

“You never change your life until you step out of your comfort zone; change begins at the end of your comfort zone.” Roy T Bennett  In life we find things that give us pleasure, help us avoid pain and conserve our energy. The idea that we use to protect us from emotions, pain and uncomfortable situations is a “crutch”. Whether it’s food, shopping, pornography, our phone, video games, gambling, drugs or alcohol we all want to protect ourselves from feeling any pain. Join Julie and I today as we talk about our different crutches that we use to not feel the pain or travel through emotions. When we realize that part of being a human being is experiencing pain, feeling it and then choosing another way that’s where growth comes in. Ep. 7 - Losing WEIGHT, feeling conflict about it or contention? What’s the difference?
“Conflict is inevitable but contention is a choice.” Dieter F Uchtdorf.  In our journey to transform our bodies, lose weight and have better health are we being contentious or experiencing conflict. In an interview with David Pulsipher this is what he said about the difference between conflict and contention: “some of the most beautiful parts of our world are created through conflict, if you will through the conflict between water hitting against the rocks in the seashore. And so conflict creates beauty. Conflict, when we do it the right way, will take us through a process in which we are co-creators with God. So we shouldn’t be afraid of conflict.” “Contention, on the other hand, is engaging in those differences in a way in which we don’t respect or love the other. So when it comes to human conflict, we can engage in all sorts of disagreements and differences, and out of those disagreements and differences create beautiful arrangements in our families in our workplaces, amongst our friends in our communities. Ep. 6 - Adding a FILTER to your THOUGHTS
What if you chose to add a filter to your thoughts? What is a filter? Just by adding a simple phrase that speaks truth you can change a negative statement that you say in your brain about your life, body, circumstance or relationships to a positive thought. Thinking, "I am fat" then adding the filter "As Daughter of God, I am fat". Doesn't feel right. The truth and the belief you might have are incongruent with one another.  Try more filters that are true. Remember you have a body and the power to choose your thoughts. What you FOCUS on GROWS! Our thoughts are very powerful. We are having thousands of thoughts each day. What we know is that your THOUGHTS become your results. The grow model is a way for you to examine your thoughts and create a plan to achieve the desired outcome.  G: GROW - what do you want to achieve?  R: REALITY - where are you at right now? What barriers are you experiencing from what you want to achieve and where you are?  O: OPTIONS - List five options for accomplishing your goal. Brainstorm. Ep. 1 - Welcome to the WHY Wait podcast
Why Wait? How did this podcast come about? Julie and I are sisters-in-law. Beth married Matt 27 years ago and Julie married Rich 17 years ago. For the last 17 years of our sisterhood and friendship, we have had conversations off and on about collaborating with one another on something special. What that something was, we hadn't fully articulated. Now, we have reached a time and season in our lives where that something is clear and exciting!  We are no longer WAITING!! We have launched a sisters life coaching website, program and podcast. We love helping others. We have learned so much in our lives. God has given us many gifts and we want to share and grow with these gifts. This podcast is a way for us to reach many individuals and offer something of help.
