As a host, Chris Barrows is uniquely gifted in his abilities to connect with guests from all walks of life who work in just about every career imaginable. His down-to-earth tone, humility and honesty bring out rich and meaningful social media stories from every guest and it's truely a pleasure to listen to.

The great thing about Why I Social and this particular episode is that the listener really feels like he or she is part of a welcoming conversation. You really get to see what makes Bree tick and why she loves what she does, but in an informal manner - without any gimmicky or pitchy - or even preachy - discussions about social media that can happen elsewhere online. Definitely worth a listen.

This podcast really gets you thinking about social and how to move from the average social marketer into doing things that really draw attention. Of course it helps that the host has fantastic guests and is always interesting to listen to. Keeping my attention up is important. BRAVO!

The stories that I hear from people on Why I Social are amazing! Some of the guests I’ve met in person and I’ve actually been able to meet the host Chris Barrows! Chris Barrows truly understands the SOCIAL part of social media like the persons he interviews on the show. This is a great interview show that keeps listeners engaged the entire way through. And as the title says - yes, I listened to three and a half episodes while running a half marathon and it inspired me to finish the race! Definitely give this a listen every time a new episode comes out!

I'm generally not much of a podcast listener, because I prefer the engagement of live social media platforms, but I have found listening to Why I Social is great. It's engaging, I generally find the guests to be people I can learn from, and the time flies by while listening!

I don't have time to listen to many podcasts, but Why I Social is on my short list of what I'm subscribed to. Great guests, solid content. Growing community of listeners and guests on Twitter (and now Facebook!) allows the conversation to evolve easily beyond just listening to the podcast. Highly recommended.

All the chatter I heard about this podcast piqued my interest so I had to check it out. I'm so glad I did! A enjoyable podcast to listen to that usually features stars of the social media community. The theme through the podcasts and supporting twitter chat is a high level and well thought out approach to social media community management. Not all the concepts are expressed clearly or completely by the guests but I find valuable insights that make the podcast worthwhile.

Chris' podcast is incredible. I recently got into listening to podcasts regularly and this one has shot up to my top 3 playlist. The flow is like listening to two guys chatting around a water cooler. The information is easily digestible and pertinent to what's going on in social. Guest speakers are extremely knowledgeable as well. A+ Chris!

I love the fresh approach this podcast takes. It brings a true conversational format to what has early on been individuals with diverse background and experience. The idea of getting to know everyone from average joe to CEO allows an opportunity to get to know some people who otherwise may not be featured in the standard podcast! I’ve been looking forward to Chris’s new podcast since I first heard about it (when it was still in early planning stages). My expectations and excitement were far exceeded.
