It's been a while Whiskey lovers. Due to a family bereavement, work commitments, Covid-19 and other distractions it has taken us a while for some of us to get together.  This, long overdue, podcast features Alex Carr, and myself Shaun Savage, mulling over a Monkey Shoulder whiskey whilst connected over Google Hangouts. Famous Grouse was our weapon of choice on this occasion. A Scotch whisky for a change. Contributors tonight were Alex, Michael and Natalie, and some other drunks at the end of the hotel bar.

Recorded in Belfast with another Irish whiskey - Sexton with a rather unusually shaped bottle. There are some extras in the episode, Brian, Jo, Kevin and Pat, but no Alex. Phil and Chloe are also here. Brian is not a whiskey drinker, but on this night we gave him a few to try, and now he is not adverse to a snifter. Apologies for the noisy background. I wasn't going to publish this one because it is so loud, but there were a few laughs along the way.

A slightly tipsy episode this week, as we had cocktails to celebrate Alex's birthday before recording.  This episode is a tasting of The Pogues Irish Whiskey. A sweet, malty, smooth whiskey with some interesting flavours and warmth.
