Serious loving the podcast. The bizarre and extremely hilarious verbal pictures these guys paint of things are amazing. Really do hope they release more episodes in the near future.

Kevin and Jack have struck gold with this podcast. It deserves to be more publicized. I unironically re-listen to episodes on the regular and it is such a comfort. Truly feels as though we are a fly trapped in a car with two theme park sickos who love each other’s company. Please never stop making this podcast.

When I found this podcast, I thought the podcasters must be doing some secret game and not promoting it. So I didn’t rate it. But it feels me with so much joy.

Listened to one episode and couldn’t stop. It was the perfect company on a solo roadtrip across Florida over a couple of days… genuinely laughed out loud in my car! Highly recommend if you are a fan of Defunct land or just like learning weird amusement park history.

This is by far the funniest podcast I’ve ever found, especially for theme park enthusiasts. I have spent hours cracking up at the various topics and now PRA is a common phrase in my house 😂 and we can’t stop singing “the sea, is my world”. It’s a banner day whenever a new episode comes out!!

One thing that's common among great podcasts is that even if they're ostensibly about one topic (in this case, theme parks) that topic is so interconnected with everything else the hosts can talk about nearly anything. You don't have to be a theme park enthusiast to enjoy this podcast. The charismatic and funny hosts clue in on weird funky details that are sometimes only tenuously linked to theme parks and expose it for all their awkward and funny goodness. They're just really good at breaking through the barrier of historical fact and making you face how absurd and funny these historical or niche realities are. Whether its palm tree enthusiasts or the weirdly broad appeal of One Republic, Kevin and Jack are extremely adept at mining these topics for the comedy just underneath the surface.

These episodes are so perfectly timed. I want more but I also love that they are not 2.5 hours each. I love how we just jump into the podcast as if we got in the car with friends and join their conversation.

Hands-down the funniest thing I’ve ever listened to; it’s unhinged in the best possible way. Every episode has me laughing —> crying —> gasping for air. I cannot wait for season 4!!

There’s no podcast that makes me laugh like this one does. Highly re-listenable with great variety in topics with similar base themes. s Somehow the topics are relatable cause as far off on a tangent as they could go they take you for the ride. It’s a refreshing break from the basic podcast structures and really feels like your sharing a night with old friends talking about anything and everything. Please never stop making these!

The worst part about this podcast is I can never hear it for the first time again. These guys managed to capture exactly what my type of humor is. I have never been in full TEARS from laughing so many episodes in a row. The 50s prime time riff is peak comedy and I will be thinking about it for a long time to come. You will regret not binging this entire podcast. Not only is the comedy top tier, their knowledge of each topic is just as impressive. I hope they continue to record episodes for the foreseeable future.

If I could leave more stars, I would.

idk how it took me like a year to find this treasure of a podcast, but grateful I’m currently working from home b/c I’ve been crying from laughter all day. Thank you for letting us all in on these unhinged and unbelievably entertaining conversations, looking forward to all the episodes to come 👏

I adore this show, but I have to be careful when I listen to it because otherwise I'm walking around smiling and laughing like a maniac. It truly feels like I'm sitting in a parked car listening in on some of the funniest conversations I've heard.

Makes long drives at work feel a lot more fun, I listen to the first season pretty much every week. I love it

Where We Parked is a very refreshing Podcast! Funny and informative conversations on fascinating and very left field Theme Park subjects. Every episode so far has made me laugh. Great stuff.

everything this guy does is thorough, fun and addictive. Defunctland is leaps and bounds beyond most ‘officially’ sanctioned documentaries on the subjects he covers. the podcast is an automatic subscribe.

what initially seems like a casual conversation between two theme park fanatics becomes an abolutely wild ride of a tale. the dynamic between the two hosts is fun, easy going, and hilarious. kevin is a brilliant documentarian, and it’s thrilling to see his storytelling skills carry over in a more conversational medium. if this is how good episode one is, i can’t wait to see where it goes next.
