Born and raised in Great Neck, New York, Mark majored in Sports Management and graduated from New York University in 2009 where he competed as  a member of the NCAA Division III Wrestling team. Mark then obtained his law degree from New York Law School in 2012. 

Mark is an attorney and in August 2016, he founded his own law firm, Mark David Shirian P.C., a boutique litigation firm in Midtown Manhattan specializing in employment discrimination, personal injury and entertainment matters. Mark has has been featured in the New York Post, New York Daily News and Fox News. 

During his free time, Mark mentors teenagers as the head wrestling coach at Davis Renov Stahler High School in Woodmere, New York.
