I didn’t know I needed this podcast but here we are! Very rewarding to be a fly on the wall for these conversations. The hosts are insightful (and that Lindsay has a v alluring speaking voice), the guests are passionate and expert, and listening to people who think of animals with such respect offers a natural and provocative foil for the rest of humanity. It’s very grounding and beautiful and a great way to nerd out.

Very thought-provoking discussions

I am thoroughly impressed by the first episode of When We Talk About Animals. Viveca and Lindsay have done an excellent job of talking in an intellectually-satisfying and non-onerous way about animals within the scope of a specific, yet broadly applicable subject-matter. In the first episode, they discussed CRISPR-CAS9 and, alongside their guest, tied this new technology into its implications for the future of humanity and non-human animals as well as its ethical implications. Looking forward to future episodes!
