This is such an engrossing podcast. I’m so glad i found it. I love the story format.

The research is thorough. I got lost in the story and really felt emotions for the subjects in the story. It was presented respectfully too.

I really enjoy the narrator. There’s no stupid laughter. It’s just good storytelling excellent podcast.

The narrator’s voice should be used for a podcast meant to put you to sleep. He also mispronounced at least one words per podcast. Somewhat interesting, but given the audio, might be a better podcast with a narrator who, IMO, did not sound like he was trying to calm down a 5 year old. it also feels like a rip off of the much better podcast “What Went Wrong”. He also clearly makes up a lot of stuff. He says things like he thought this. You can’t know what someone thought. This podcast just isn’t worth the listen. It’s the podcast equivalent of the love story JFK Carolyn Bessette

Stumbled upon this podcast and am so delighted! Very informative, even tone voice, it’s easy to listen to as well.

I found the episodes to be entertaining and moving. The subject material is handled in a very empathetic way. Learning more about the stars of past and what they went thru is sad yet fascinating. I wish there were more episodes to binge. I appreciate the thoughtful research and no chitter chatter from the host/writer. Can hardly wait for what is next. Highly recommend!.

As someone who grew up fascinated with Marilyn Monroe, I’m surprised at how much I’m learning about her. I’ve read lots of biographies but this podcast is really well researched.

Information is interesting. Narrators voice is boring. Would be nice to be more of a storyteller

Patrick the writer and narrator has the best and most soothing voice to tell these stories. While I’ve heard most of the facts he shares, I love hearing his delivery of them. I look forward to more!

Uncovering the life of the subjects has been intriguing. It has made each of them so human with how they struggled in life that we didn’t know before. I like that the podcaster presents the facts without drama but just straightforward.

This is a really engaging podcast, and I love the tone of the narrator’s voice and the No Frills storytelling!

The host doesn’t even try to use natural inflections. I have no idea if the content was interesting because I couldn’t get past the monotone, unnatural speech.

I’ve listened and learned so much more than I expected! Thank you for your research and all the detailed work you put into creating these episodes!

I have read books and articles, and watched material about Marilyn through the years. This podcast provides a deeper dive into her life than anything I’ve come across previously. The research is meticulous and thorough, the “story telling” is high quality, respectful, and engrossing. More than anything, it was about time we hear about Marilyn’s strength and tenacity instead of the “tragic” story of Marilyn Monroe. She was driven. She was ahead of her time. Thank you for this wonderful podcast.

The Marilyn episodes were fascinating. So well paced. Interesting facts new to me peppered throughout, but focused on the humanity of this bright star. Doesn’t skip over anything, but doesn’t linger on the tabloid. Can’t wait to hear the upcoming episodes! Great work!

This podcast had me listening the entire way from La salle Colorado to Amarillo,Tx. I never knew so much about her. So much more than just a IMAGE!

While I enjoyed the show I found Patrick’s monotone voice difficult. It added to the depressing material. While MM was certainly a victim of fame she was also a victim of herself. Truly a tragic story. My husband and I enjoyed the 3 part episodes and look forward to more.

This is a wonderful podcast, filled with deep, detailed historical research. I love the way it is delivered, as a story, with no additional music or other voices to distract. It makes it easy to get lost in the tale.

I found this under “New” on Apple. My dad loved Marilyn Monroe, and now I see why. Thank you to Patrick for this truly engaging story.

First, Patrick's narration is incredible. Even though the story has been told many times, I'm hearing things I hadn't known about Marilyn and I'm looking forward to listening to the second installment. Would love to see this one go into more of the Hollywood stories from the past. This one is a keeper.

A very interesting insider look at Hollywood’s Golden era! Appreciate the extra Research and it’s clearly not being sensationalized. But presented as what is known while humbly acknowledging what is not.
