This week I'm happy to have Mark L. O'Brien join me! Mark is a trauma survivor and author of Crashing: I Love You. Forgive Me, a memoir exploring guilt, grief, and growth in the aftermath of tragedy. He is a non-profit executive and cross-sector consultant with over fifteen years of experience in aligning policy, practice, and people to successfully achieve ambitious goals that make life better for individuals and communities. Mark received a B.S. in Law and American Civilization from Towson University, a Master’s degree in Applied Positive Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania, and a law degree from Georgetown University Law Center.
In this episode we discuss accidental death, tremendous forgiveness, the science behind post-traumatic growth, and how to move on when the unthinkable happens.
