Bryan and Stephanie have an enthusiastic conversation with Community Response Coordinator, Heather Stordy (ASD-E), Paul Toner (United Way) and Mayor of Riverview, Andrew LeBlanc (Atlantic Wellness) but the launch of the new Riverview Youth Network. The Network is looking to engage youth in Riverview in community action and to respond to needs in the community that have evolved and risen in the last 1.5 years

We are honoured to have had the opportunity to have this important conversation with Elder Donna Augustine from Elisipogtog and our Indigenous Education Coordinator, Tracy Landry. Donna and Tracy talk to us about the upcoming National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, on September 30th and what it means this year following the horrific recoveries of thousands of Indigenous children in unmarked graves on the properties of former Residential Schools. Donna talks to us about the history of this land, her family and the children who taken from their families to attend these schools. We encourage students and staff to wear Orange on September 30th, in recognition of Phyllis Webstad's experience and in recognition of Every Child Matters.
