But I love listening to this to get a good grasp of the variety and interesting food options in HOU. Makes me want to move there sometimes! Such a diverse city with incredible food options.

It’s a decent podcast to get more in depth info on food news in Houston, but half the time the guest hosts are not great. Any episode with the guy who feels obligated to say “daddy” ironically 75 times is an instant skip. If a joke doesn’t work, don’t lean into it harder. You’re a food person not a comedian. Stick to food and let comedians do the jokes

Please stop saying “ya know” It makes listening unbearable.

Massively good podcast to stay informed on restaurant and bar intel in Houston. Fun to listen to. I always have a few new places I want to try after listening to the beginning few minutes of each episode. Past episodes with the Canadian chef who cusses a lot are amazing.

Eric and his co-hosts provide the best info about new and exciting restaurants and bars in Houston. I find myself going to his “restaurants of the week” every week after I listen. His interviews with chefs and owners are so insightful and inspiring. I eat out almost every meal so I love hearing what his recommendations are around town. Keep up the great work!

This pod is yet another reason to look forward to Thursdays. I love the format and interviews. However, I agree on the audio. I don’t think I’ve ever heard Eric actually say the word “cookbook” in the lightening round, because his elocution trails off at the end of sentences. Also, I can do without the caustic co-host who can’t bear the thought of leaving her beloved loop, and seems oblivious to the fact that the consuming audience is not so agoraphobic. That’s it! That’s all the criticism! Keep up the good work and stay healthy! This is my number 1 podcast.

I LOVE this pod cast! I listen EVERY week it is uploaded. The ONLY criticism I have is MUCH of the time I have difficulty hearing what is being said. I have perfect hearing (I have recently had a hearing test) & when I have to have the volume all the way up to try to hear what is being said, there is a problem. Maybe I am just expecting too much considering you record in an actual studio. I really do appreciate all the work done on the podcast and really enjoy listening to it, when I can hear what is being said.

Eric really knows Houston food. Super thoughtful and Interesting questions during his interviews. Great cross-section of guests from all over to provide key insights.
