In today's episode I'm sharing something I am still learning — knowing when to fold.

I have a condition called mast cell activation syndrome, and a while back I pushed through to a hard exercise class on a day my body was clearly telling me not to. And I suffered for it.

Audre Lorde wrote in A Burst of Light that living with cancer forced her to consciously jettison the myth of omnipresence — the belief that she could do anything.

Today's episode is about honoring your real limits, the complicated relationship between body and movement in recovery, and why folding when you need to fold is not weakness. It is wisdom.

Question to carry into your day:
What is your body telling you right now that you have been overriding — and what would it look like to actually listen?

If the relationship between your body, food, and what you deserve is still complicated, let's talk. Visit https://link.allyone.io/widget/bookings/mc-discoverycall to book a free discovery call about the Stop Starting Over System.
