My mother has been in hospice care for three years and I so appreciate finding helpful resources for better understanding her situation and what I can do to advocate for her. Your podcast is helping me with mom as much as it is opening my 54-year-old eyes to steps I can take now to improve my own health span.

Presentation by Kate Scheirman and Jane Barthen, licensed social workers , plus extensive additional training and experience for each, doing introductory podcast on “life after retirement”, basically. After retiring myself three years ago, I realized to successfully retire requires advanced education! These two ladies are planning to present the information necessary for successful aging. This initial podcast outlines their topics to introduce how, and what, challenges “growing older” will most likely present. Easy to follow, well worth listening to their obvious expertise.
