In this episode Allison Hufford is coming on the podcast to share her two very different birth stories! Her first birth of her baby girl Abigail was "textbook" from Allisons perspective, however her second birth ended in an rushed cesarean section after pushing for 3 hours. Allison shares how throughout her first two pregnancies she went with the flow of her providers and did not do much advocating for herself. Allison is now pregnant with her third baby due in October! She shares how this current pregnancy she is focusing on educating herself, living a healthy and toxic free lifestyle, speaking up for her beliefs, and planning a VBAC (vaginal birth after cesarean) with the support of her midwife!
