Disappointing
I really enjoy Trevor Noah and his quick wit. But somehow the banter on this very long show just doesn’t engage me.

Love What Now
This show is great… the easy pace, the tangents, and personal stories all work. I disagree with reviews criticizing Eugene. He is amazing! And Trevor, please keep addressing South Africa’s xenophobic attacks. Your voice matters as long as the issue persists!

The best episodes
Trevor Noah is one of the most important voices of our age. The best What Now episodes were the first ones. Trevor started out really strong but the last six months or so, the spark is gone. He will likely get it back so I’ll keep checking in periodically.

Vibe with Adam Grant
I found the episode very interesting. I will definitely read the book. If I could have asked Adam one question during the podcast, it would have been, what are people who have a chronic physical medical condition that has completely erased who they once were and left them housebound, supposed to do to help build and maintain relationships? The questions and answers during the podcast were good, but they applied to able bodied people. I am sure that there are a lot of listeners, like me, with physical limitations who tune into this podcast (and other people’s podcasts) because it is the only/limited exposure they can get to the outside world.

Thank you
Why is Jimmy trying to get Trevor to have a kid? That’s some very personal business. Good show generally that introduces interesting conversations.

Fantastic pod!
I was instantly hooked by the quality and variety of guests being booked. Fascinating topics and I love the easy banter between Trevor and Eugene. Eugene has added some real insights to the conversations and I love his perspectives on the show.

Jut the best
The only thing that would make me love this podcast more would be getting to physically sit in the room with Trevor and Eugene and to have the intellect and wit to hang with them and the guest. I appreciate the variety of perspective and the consistent thoughtfulness that Trevor, Eugene, and their guests demonstrate throughout the conversations they are having. You all make me want to be a more informed, less judgmental, mentally agile person Lastly, Eugene’s laugh is the best, I cannot relate to the people on here complaining about it.

Colin Kaepernick as your guest.
What an interesting and informative conversation with you three. I have long been aware of Colin as I was a football player at UNR in 1979 and 1980. Fascinating hearing his background and insights into his life so far. I will definitely read his book! Your interview was insightful and also had me laughing uncontrollably at times. Thank Trevor!

Eugene
I am happy to see Trevor has a close friendship with Eugene but their banter is hard to follow and Eugene’s laugh is grating in my earbuds. I love Trevor’s humor and insights and the interesting guests he’s had on the show. However, I am sad to unfollow the show until Eugene steps away from being co-host.

My nighttime podcast!
I listened to Trevor Noah and Eugene every night. I love this podcast because Trevor and Eugene smoothly bounce off each other's humor, creating an engaging and entertaining atmosphere. The guests they invite are highly informative, often experts or influential figures in their fields, which adds valuable insights to each episode. Trevor's interviewing style is thoughtful and in-depth, allowing him to explore topics thoroughly. I've learned a great deal from this podcast, both intellectually and culturally.

Mixed feelings
I’ve listened to a few episodes. There are some great enlightening and hilarious comments from the hosts, I do enjoy the three of them …but the interjections can be too frequent and too drawn out in a way that sort of abandons the guest being interviewed (I think this is sometimes a particular comedic style that isn’t my favorite, especially on a podcast). I was excited to hear Dr. Boroditsky recently, but had to turn off this interview and seek her out elsewhere bc the podcast opens with around 10min of banter (I commend the guest for her grace throughout). I agree with others that minor editing would go far.

Pivot to more real content
Cohosts banter is a terrible distraction and disrespectful to interesting guests. Trevor has the clout and market to attract meaningful guests and conversations but that is diminished by the friend’s conversations and interjections that are not pertinent to the discussion or valuable to the audience.

Thank you for returning to structured interviews!
Trevor has such a reflective humor and intelligence and I truly believe his work makes the world a better place. As a longtime fan, I’m so glad the show has returned to its original roots of more structured interviews! I miss the days of Josh and Christiana, but happy to see Trevor and Eugene have moved away from the rambly, bro-style conversations that were harder (in my opinion) to follow. The show feels like itself again! Love tuning in and learning new things. Particularly enjoyed recent episodes with Alice Han, Katie Couric, and Jose Andres.

Let the guests speak
It feels like Trevor gets some really interesting, intelligent guests (like TER) but he and his co host just cut her off incessantly. I think the two guys are genuinely way too impressed with their own boring banter. Please understand that we want to hear what the guest has to say, not what Trevor has to say.

Trevor Interviews Ms Tracee Ellis Ross
Fantastic interview, as usual. Trevor manages to ask questions in which, I believe, help the listeners learn about the person who he is speaking to or the subject he is speaking about. He did the same thing in this interview with Ms Tracee Ellis Ross. The listener is also able to begin to learn (if this is the first time listening) the friendship between Trevor and Eugene. As usual, Eugene was comical and gives insight into who Trevor is and their friendship.

Love you, Trevor, but please stop the silliness!
Yes, I gave this podcast five stars because sometimes it just blows my socks off. And Trevor really does have a talent of thinking deeply while speaking clearly that makes his conversations with smart, remarkable people really valuable to hear. The valuable moments are too often interrupted by non sequitur, silly discussions that have nothing to do with the theme of the conversation. Perhaps it’s supposed to be like sitting down with friends, but honestly, if my friends started rambling about silly things when I had an interesting and smart guest for dinner, I would kick them under the table. , Sometimes I get so impatient with the silliness that I don’t listen to the rest of the podcast. Trevor, you’re great, but you can do better

Fire Eugene!
Please get rid of Eugene - can’t stand his laugh and his contribution to the show. Can’t take that man serious. Was 5 stars but Eugene brings it down to 2 stars.

Eugene takes away from what can be a good podcast
Big fan of Trevor but Eugene distracts him and they start making excessive jokes interrupting their guest. The focus should be on the guest. Trevor is such a great interviewer but I find that having Eugene there really affects the podcast negatively. It’s disappointing.

Less Banter, More Real Talk!
Love these guys and the interviews, but often the banter and interruptive jokes are so obnoxious they ruin it... how more more respect for your guests and listeners: more interview, less side bar!

2 minutes of in show advert
The show is great , but he’s chosen to do in show advertisements that I have to forward to. 2 minutes before I can get to the audio. How hypocritical given the context of ensh-fication of everything.

Everything I Need From A Podcast
All of the feelings you need… want… should… feel while listening to your podcast. I only have time in my life for one podcast, Trevor and Eugene serve up a satisfying nuanced interview soaked in African best friend humor sauce of interesting diverse guest you would likely never discover on your own. Listen to they now!!

Amazing at first, challenging now
I’ve loved Trevor Noah since his book, throughout his interviews on TDS, and in every one of his comedy tours. He’s a thoughtful and excellent interviewer. He listens. He asks interesting and introspective questions. And his worldview lends to perspectives that most podcast and TV hosts do not share. When Christina and Josh left, though, things significantly changed. I wish Trevor would conduct his interviews solo and leave Eugene for non interview podcasts. I cannot listen to the podcasts with Eugene present. The interviews are disjointed and his interruptions take away from what the guests are saying. It feels so chaotic. It makes it impossible to focus and really hone in on the guest and their interview. I had to quit the most recent podcast with Asma Khan because the interview was consumed with interruptions and side quests.

World Cup Coverage
Trevor is great, and his World Cup coverage with Joe is even better. Can’t wait for them to hopefully cover the Women’s World Cup next year… Right guys?

Obsessed
I discovered this recently and trying to catch up. I am loving the episodes I have listened to so far. These long depth interviews are very informative with some laughs mixed in. I adore Trevor’s camaraderie with Eugene.

Noah but co-presenters interrupt
Truly value Noah’s insights & PoV. Sometimes certain co-presenters take over / don’t listen and interrupt Noah which gets me annoyed for Noah’s

My favorite podcast
I have loved Trevor Noah since learning about him from the daily show. Also his memoir born a crime is one of my favorite books of all time, but you must listen to it as an audiobook! He is a master storyteller. I love his perspective on life. Love how he sees booths sides of any argument. I have loved every podcast, especially his favorite people. Eugene used to be too overwhelming for me with all of his interruptions and tangents, but I have grown to love him. Especially when he will randomly come up with a very poignant viewpoint.

Awesome job
I have to write a review, which I never do, after listening to you talk about people who write horrible reviews on your content. I’m 61 so maybe it’s generational but I wonder if it’s too much to suggest that you don’t read the comments. You are talking about these people as if they are average people. I don’t know anyone who would write vitriol on someone’s content online. The people who do that are disturbed! I really don’t think you should engage with people like that. There are a lot of angry people out there. But they are far from typical. Thank you for such wonderful content. Great job as usual❤️

Too long
Was interested in the Eddie Fisher episode, when he started explaining things, somebody, usually Eugene, interrupts with an unfunny joke that everyone seems to force-cackle to for like 30 seconds. Makes the ride too bumpy and long to get through. Similar experience with Brene Brown. Stopped both after 20ish min. Trevor is a great interviewer, wish they edited these down and stayed on track.

Bimodal Talent Distribution
You have Noah that is clever and insightful, but then Christiana who is only able to speak about certain talking points as a misinformed ideologue that can only recite what her college professors told her. In Scott Galloway’s podcast only cared about race with cherry picked statistics instead of interviewing the podcaster. Improve your hiring, Noah.

Brene Brown: The Rage Bucket Theory
This was such a great episode. Trevor and friends always go deep, but the amount of really exploring and sharing of ideas here was wonderful! Thank you to all of you!! And we need another episode with BB and an update on her teaching Eugene pickle ball!! lol

Love this podcast
I’m only halfway through the Brené Brown episode, but I’m just loving everything that all three of you are sharing!

Great podcast, fix the editing
This podcast is one of my favorites. I think the interviews are excellent and the questions insightful. Plus we get to hear from a wide range of people and perspective, which is great. However, the editing of this show has been a mess! Clips repeat, some seem to get placed out of order and it really creates a frustrating listening experience.

Love Trevor and this podcast
Love Trevor and friends, but hope you aren’t going to eliminate conversation, more in depth on topics, with other interesting people too. Love the variety of guests Katie Couric and Eugene included, though I have found laughter and banter with Eugene at times overwhelming my ability to follow the conversation, especially with the audio only podcast. Love My Favorite People …especially the comedy chemistry with Will from Haiti and Dave (man on the street). This soon to be 70 year old, middle class, white, American woman is grateful to find so much,…. easy to have a kind hearted laugh at, ….common humanity expressed, even with black men from several different cultural perspectives .

Disappointed
I was excited to listen to the Zohran Mamdani interview but was so disappointed in all the cuttin up and joking. If this is how the pod always is, I won’t listen again. Zohran has a lot to say, let him speak!

Excellent discussions
I’m a late comer to this podcast and so happy I started listening. Each episode is informative, has moments of heart, and “a-ha.” Am learning and enjoying this thoroughly thoughtful program.

I used to love Trevor’s podcast but it’s gone downhill. The episodes are random and I can’t say I understand anymore what the podcast is even about. In particular, I found the episode with Katie Couric uncomfortable. She is a renowned, highly intelligent journalist, and I found the interjections from Eugene and the back and forth between him and Trevor to be childish and unnecessary. Would’ve been better to just have a conversation with Trevor and Katie and leave Eugene for less serious guests and topics.

Always ENJOY Trevor & guests - have been a long time fan on his brilliant mind & his ability to build bridges across humanity! Particularly Like the tone of this last podcast with Katie Couric! Would appreciate a chance to dialogue about this very topic of dare I say “great divide” from a place of psychology! Would be honored as a seasoned licensed clinician to someday get the chance! I do REALLY believe its the missing piece of puzzle! Thank you TREVOR & team for this inspiring & timely episode🙏🏻

I Love Eugene
I started listening from an instagram post on ADHD, and then started listening to other episodes. The bond between Trevor and Eugene is beautiful. The love, respect and jokes between them and the guests are why I stay. Yes, sometimes I can’t understand Eugene and then Trevor comes in with the interpretation, but I genuinely love it and feel like I’m in the midst of true friendship. And Eugene’s insight and perspective are so precious to the episodes - especially when he talked about watching his friends play pickleball and how he learned to love to watch his friends be happy. Their happiness was his happiness. Of course the conversations are fantastic, too.

The legacy media is over. I don’t want to hear anything she has to say. Of all the people you can book let’s stop with those who are what got us in this mess.

I Did Not Mean For This To Happen
I did not mean for this to become my favorite podcast. It snuck up on me like a library fine, small at first, then suddenly a problem. It came up on my algorithm and began playing before I had a chance to skip it, and just like that, it was over for me. Trevor Noah is brilliant, and he has curated the most wonderful podcast with diverse and unexpected guests including, entrepreneurs, artists, activists, politicians, writers, scholars, and everyone in between. After being introduced to so many of these guests, I found myself doing something I have never done before: seeking out their research, their work, and actually reading their books. Seriously, Dataclysm…What in all things nerdy?! I did not know I was that person. Apparently, I am and have always been but denial is real in these streets. I absolutely love this podcast, so much and I have committed to going back and listening to every (ok mostly every) episode. Only 115ish to go. This will keep me busy for a very long time. 🥴 Trevor,Eugene, and the formerly Christiana, whose voice is so genuinely missed, thank you for this curious, intellectual, funny, and beautifully diverse podcast. It is nourishing to my soul, my spirit, and my very curious mind. ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I would accidentally get hooked again.

Eugene is too much of a distraction
I have always loved this podcast but the interruptions and joking from/with Eugenehas stopped me from listening. The interview with Mandami was particularly disappointing due to this issue.

Eugene is the best!
I started listening to this podcast a few years back after reading “Born a Crime.” Spoiler alert, best memoir I’ve ever read. I hope Trevor will keep writing, he has such a unique voice. It got me through high school and is now helping me figure out my way through college and the world at large. I always look forward to laughing, learning something new, and seeing the world in a different way. All of that to say that I think it’s hilarious that people are being so negative towards Eugene. He’s hilarious, insightful and adds something really special to every conversation. He always seems to know the right questions to ask. He’s the best!

Worldly, funny, real
This is my absolute favorite podcast and I love hanging out with Trevor and his friends. His guests are always super fascinating people and not only do I learn so much, I’m always laughing hysterically! He’s such an incredible story teller. They have light, funny topics but also serious enough about real issues in today’s crazy times. It’s such a great pick me up to spend time listening to this crew. Love it so much!!!
