Bodies, bodies, bodies! We have them, we love them - or do we? Our social landscape works tirelessly to impose "standards of beauty" which leads to unhealthy and unrealistic expectations for ourselves and others. In our second episode, we pinpoint some of the root causes of negative body image, how we cope and how we can thrive.If you find yourself stuck in a loop of negative thoughts around body image, here are some tips for changing how you view the body:Get honest about what body standards you have and if they are true reflections of your wants and needsIntentionally dissuade yourself from looking in the mirror every time you pass one.Check yourself one more time before commenting on someone's body.Compliment someone on anything but their body.Flood your timeline with body positive media.
