Midseason Madness Underway! Western Playoff Review!
The playoffs are long gone and MSI is fast approaching. But because of COVID, our host was stuck in the shadow realm and couldn't really cover them. SO it's time for a trip down memory lane to see how G2 esports and Evil Geniuses managed to book their tickets to Busan. Also, roster moves have begun for the teams left at home. Let's look at what has happened so far. Has Cloud 9 made any moves? How big will TSM's rebuild be? What of Mad Lions? Answers to these questions can be found on this week's episode of the WRPTwitter: https://twitter.com/KolhirasCorner

All LCS Episode! Peter Zhang Drama Unfolds, Final Super Week of Spring is Here!!!
The Peter Zhang situation continues to unfold and we now have more information on the allegations thanks to a Dexerto article written by Richard Lewis (article: Sources: TSM League coach Peter Zhang fired for alleged financial irregularities - Dexerto). Allegations from TSM towards Peter Zhang claim he used his position for self-enrichment. On Wednesday, Peter Zhang put out a twitlonger providing his side of the story (twitlonger summarized here: Peter Zhang responds to departure from TSM: 'I want to take responsibility for my mistakes' - Dot Esports). This leaves the situation in a very he said, she said state and leaves all wondering where it will go from here. Moving onto the Rift and the fight for the final playoff spots will conclude this weekend with Super Week. Four teams fight for three spots and strength of schedule maybe the biggest determining factor. We go over all of this on this weeks episode of the WRP

One Super Week Ends and Another Begins!!
The LCS' mid split super week to close out the first round robin of the Spring Split gave us a glimpse at to who are the contenders and who are the pretenders. Team Liquid and Cloud 9 proved their strength is legit while Flyquest showed that there were a flash in the pan. Meanwhile in Europe, the race for playoffs got a bit closer to the finish with Astralis and BDS being knocked out heading into the final week. Which is a super week of its own. Plus I give my thoughts on the continuously declining LCS viewership numbers. All that on this weeks episode of the WRPTwitter: https://twitter.com/KolhirasCorner

LS is Out of Cloud 9 and The League World is Not Happy...
Merely hours before game time on Saturday February 19, Cloud 9 released a statement on Twitter saying LS was out of the team and Max Waldo was taking over as head coach (C9 Tweet: https://twitter.com/Cloud9/status/1495205251502297095?s=20&t=h_mLUTcw3fc0vtALM3HsyQ). There was no information about the dismissal and seemingly nothing made sense. Fast Forward to Tuesday, C9 release a press video (https://twitter.com/Cloud9/status/1496167913870536708?s=20&t=lLQZvNX9pFp3F_DvBebZew) that seemingly says a whole lot of nothing other than the fact there was a clash of styles. No one was happy and seemingly everyone had their opinion, including T1 CEO Joe Marsh, whom had LS employed as a content creator before his move to C9. Well now you get to hear mine, along with some context that may make this move easier to understand. All that and more on this episode of the WRP.Montecristo tweet thread referenced in this episode: https://twitter.com/MonteCristo/status/1496172760002809857?s=20&t=lLQZvNX9pFp3F_DvBebZew

The LCS' best support is now eligible for game time! CoreJJ has finally received his green card, meaning Team Liquid are now at full strength. Is there even more going on behind the scenes over there? When it comes to last weeks games, oh boy did we have an interesting weekend. In Europe, Astralis of all teams end Rogue's unbeaten streak, 4 teams went 2-0 and the table looks as close as ever.Over in NA, TSM is drowning, TL silence the church and 100T might be in some trouble. All this and more on this week's episode of the WRP

LS is Here and Mass is on Weekends!!! Astralis are in the mud!
The first week of the LCS has passed and it was one of the more exciting weeks of action in recent years. The arrival of LS and Cloud 9's Korean built roster saw immediate changes in playstyle and in draft for the boys in blue. Along with them came the debut of TSM's Chinese powered roster, highlighted by acquisitions Keaiduo and Shenyi from China's LDL. The support smite top strategy made its North American debut in the hands of Flyquest and the yellow and black of Dignitas showed that Lock In was no fluke. The LEC sees zeros on both ends of the table, with both Astralis and Rogue setting noteworthy mid-split marks, while BDS and Fnatic are both in freefall...for two different reasons. All of this to be discussed on this week's episode of WRP

It's a Lock In Title for TL! Meanwhile Rogue are doing Rogue things...
The Lock In tournament is now officially behind us and a champion has been crowned. Bwipo has returned to the top lane in a new region and just about a month in he's already made it known he's unquestionably the best. Yet many other questions are left unanswered as North America prepares to start the regular season this weekend. Meanwhile, the other side of the Atlantic is in full swing, with the regular season kings looking to keep their undefeated streak going as well as their crown. Only time will tell if they can finally translate this form into the playoffs. All this is up for discussion on this week's episode of the WRP.

Advienne Benched and 100T Out?!? Yeah it's been mad.
The past week of Western League has been one of some interesting storylines. Most notably, the benching of the young, promising support Advienne and 100 Thieves losing to Dignitas...Yeah you read that right. The reigning champs lost to the team that was drafted DEAD LAST for the Lock In Groups. I go over those big points as well as a review and preview of the games that can gone and to come on this week's episode of the WRP.
