60% of UK workers have reported being unhappy at work and 4 in 10 workers have described themselves as feeling very or extremely stressed about pay and money issues on a regular basis - are you doing enough? Listen to our live podcast every week on our Facebook page, or you can listen to the podcast version to find out how you can make your company a better place to work.
Kate Daviesis an independent fertility nurse consultant, IVF Coach and director of Your Fertility Journey, a company which provides high-quality advice and support for women and couples struggling to conceive naturally or who are navigating IVF. They also offer corporate consultancy to organisations looking to promote fertility wellbeing in the workplace. Kate works together in a team to assist with understanding the benefits of supporting the fertility needs of employees such as increased engagement, improved performance and profitability and setting organisations apart as an employer of choice. Kate’s passion for podcasting allows her to help break the silence surrounded with infertility and allow a positive message and information to be spread.
Kate starts by talking about how she worked as a business opportunity journey for seven years now, and obviously part of that is working with my patients so direct patient care. As well as how she works with financial services and law firms, and very much working in that space to bring fertility to the well being agenda. Kate goes on to discuss menopause being discussed in the workplace but questions why fertility is not discussed regularly and her views on how employers can continue to support their workers. Furthermore, they discuss how having holistic care alongside your traditional medical care can really benefit employees.
