Keeping up with pop culture is an underpaid full-time job. But in the name of trends and channeling our youth, we're buckling up and consulting the internet to see what the headlines are finding important these days. Along the way, we investigate Zillennials, take down BeReal, and struggle to understand why Christian public figures are making church...sexy? Join us for some giggles and pop culture hot takes, in the name of wholesome family fun.

Long distance relationships—whether with family, friends, or those random crushes you continue to stalk on Instagram—take a certain level of balance and intentionality. You want those forever friends to last...well, forever. But at the same time, you need to grow relationships happening IRL during the season of life you're currently in. How do you do it!?
While we find ourselves constantly juggling relationships from thousands of miles away, it's become increasingly clear that some things just work better than others when it comes to relationship maintenance. We're busy gals who love our people well—and recognize that loving our people well doesn't necessarily mean Facetiming each of them once a week. Sustainable habits that can be adjusted for different people, that's the key! We hope some of our tried-and-true tips help you feel confident in your ability to manage your relationships, both near and far.

While being a bridesmaid sounds easy enough, anyone with their fair share of wedding party experience will quickly tell you otherwise. Between the cost of bridal party obligations and the travel to different events, wedding season can quickly turn your calendar into a game of Tetris.
But fear not! We're not too humble to admit that we're phenomenal bridesmaids/wedding party participants. Between the two of us, we've been in well over a dozen weddings (and counting!), so it's safe to say we've got a few tricks up our sleeves. Today we discuss those financial and relational hurdles, what you need to do and don't need to do in order to meet your bridesmaid expectations, and whether or not you should always say "yes!" to every wedding party invitation.
Our goal is to have you come out of this episode ready to absolutely crush next wedding season with your MVP bridesmaid (or groomsmen, hey fellas!) skill.
Want more Well Said Red wedding tips and tricks? Head over to episode 3, "Wedding Guest Faux Pas" to listen to the first installment of our wedding franchise.

Today we're joined by Katryna Eastwood, a dear friend of the pod and inspirational gal pal to all who meet her. The topic? Female role models. We chat about the women we looked up to in adolescence and who we hope to be when we're grown. The stories we remember, the impact moments that changed our perspective, and the middle school drama we are #blessed to have gotten through with all our limbs still attached.
It's hard out there in these streets—we (still) need a little help from the gals around us!
You can follow Katryna on Instagram at @katrynaeastwood.

Join us for a stroll down memory lane as we discuss the jobs we had in high school, the internships that gave us a taste of the high life (LOL JK), and the lessons that led us to become the bill-paying women we are today. Did your first gig leave you with a smell that was hard to shake for the remainder of summer? Coincidentally, both of ours did!
While we're thrilled to be onto bigger and better things these days, seeing where we came from is cute and humbling. And the life lessons you learn as you cry in WeWork phone booths are just as relevant today as they were then.

What is it like living in a city with millions of people and tiny apartments? Lumiere had a whole castle to entertain Belle, but when you have only 500 sq feet to call home what does hosting look like?
Lily and Dev talk about their childhood homes, origin stories and how to host community in New York.
This episode should be a cozy vibe for your ears, sit back, relax, and learn about what it's like finding community in the city!
