Typical
I enjoy this podcast. Good chemistry between hosts, fairly informative. Sadly they occasionally need to lean into the normal narrative of ‘American culture, bad. Also decided to let overtly racist podcasts to be advertised on their feed. Guess you go along to get along, regardless of the divisive lies they promote.

My favorite podcast
Joe & Rob have changed my view on these types of movies. I now watch every one prior to listening. Weirdhouse is a great podcast that I listen to every day. Ive listened to some episodes 5-6 time. Very enjoyable! Thanks guys.

Perfect For Fans of Obscure Cinema
A friend who’s a big fan of STBYM told me a few years ago that the show had a weekly episode dedicated to weird movies. I was intrigued and downloaded the most recent episode at the time, which happened to be Thrilling Bloody Sword—a film I’d never heard of. After that first episode, I was hooked. Not only did I love Joe and Rob’s conversation about the movie, but they also introduced me to a wild film I instantly fell for after watching it. The biggest reward for me has been discovering new films through the show. Even when it’s a movie I’ve already seen, their discussions are still fascinating. They offer solid insight into the cast and production, along with a detailed breakdown of the narrative. As a bonus, they log the movies they cover on Letterboxd—which happens to be my favorite app for tracking films I’ve watched. Anytime they add a new title I haven’t seen, it immediately goes on my watchlist. All in all, this is a delightful show for film enthusiasts, and I can’t recommend it enough.
