All it took was one episode, the one called Prophecy, to understand that this podcast is beyond insufferable. The episode is over two hours long but I had to quit after about 40 minutes when they still weren’t discussing the topic. Moreover, I almost hated them by that point with their sophomoric, moronic jokes (who finds their drivel funny besides their mothers?) and the obvious pleasure they take at the sound of their own voices and laughter. I would literally rather shred my ears with a cheese grater than listen to this podcast again.

Name a better trio that’s not Harry, Ron, and Hermione. I’ll wait…

I LOVE this show! I binge listened the first time through and found myself laughing along with the guys. I’m all caught up now and this is one of my favorite podcasts to relisten to, especially while I’m at work or doing yard work.

My podcast library needs culling. I really enjoy the genre of “creepy, strange, unexplained etc…” however every time I click on this one I am quickly reminded that this is the lame show with the cheesy brits that apparently just like to hear themselves talk. They talk about everything except the topic for approximately half the show. When they do eventually get on topic it’s painfully obvious the only research they did was a simple Google search. Don't waste your time.

I really like the levity & humor of the hosts. Their diverse personal backgrounds and experiences influence meaningful perspectives inducing dialogues about the paranormal using critical thinking as well as injecting religious and spiritual takes on subject matter. I was in search of something to fill my day and stubbled on this while looking for something about cryptozoology. After a few episodes in I really enjoyed the style, not just the same old storytelling or interview but a genuine chat you would have with your friends at the bar. I made it 100 episodes in quickly and still working to catch up. Thanks for the laughs!

I have been binge listening to the back catalogue, and I and confident to say that this show is my favorite entertainment. The guys create a “family feel” and make listening on commute to work so enjoyable. I love the varied topics and the diverse range of conversation from bathroom humor to philosophy questions the purpose of human existence. Cheers fellas!

I apologize for taking so long to do this. I LOVE this podcast. I think I was waiting to try to figure out what to say. I couldn’t put my finger on why I love it so much. Normally I don’t want to hear about podcasters lives I just want the subject covered and that’s it. These guys are so intelligent and funny and insane and I really love that they’re so different but such good friends and so respectful of their differences and obviously love each other. This is one of 3 shows that im literally dying for a new episode and for me that’s a huge deal. Sorry for the rambling but these guys warm my heart and make me laugh like I’m in the room with them. I checked out the show after one of the guys posted a comment on a Reddit thread. I think that was around episode four and I’m still here! I’ve listened to every ep (except the alien ones, I just can’t do it) and thoroughly enjoy them all! After listening to the first 3 episodes, I already knew I was in it for the long haul. I decided to hold off on rating until I finished every episode so my rating would be as accurate as possible, and I’m glad I did. EVERY single episode piqued my interest, and while they don’t delve too deep into each subject (which they freely admit to) they give you just enough to wet your appetite. I listen to “Weird Tales” for about 9 hours a day 5 days a week while I’m at work, and it still doesn’t feel like enough. The tangents are frequent, but in my opinion, some of their best content. The second I caught up, I went back and started again from episode one, and it’s even better the second time! I recommend WTATU to every one of my friends, and they all agree 100%. I’m a listener for life, and I can’t wait for more!

Hello I don’t mean this as a bad comment But in regard to ep146, I definitely know that you quotes for Brain are wrong for some of what he actually said. I have heard Brain tell his story and they are easy to find on YouTube But for example The kids actually told him something the the effect of “We are just kids, it’s not like we have a gun or anything.” Something more to the effect of that. Also I’m pretty sure, he never said he saw the eyes turn black, it was something he had happened to finally notice during his interaction, after having a since of uneasiness the entire time and not knowing why. It was more like, Oh I know why I’m feeling this way, they have black eyes. That’s just a few things, not a big deal but, I just thought I would let you know, it at least makes you guys look better if your information is correct and match up with your stories. In regard to this one tho, it’s how Brian tell his story, when he tells it, it feels legit and like he himself was scared.

Dips their toes into the world of occult without submerging into conspiracy theory. The vibe is very chill, but not unattached. Great for casual listening if you can stomach some of the more grim subject matters.

Unlike nearly every other podcast I hear, there is no arrogance or pretentious superiority from the hosts. I love this podcast for the interesting content, and the overall interest the hosts take in relaying them to the listeners. What really ties the room together, isn’t the rug, but the friends upon it. I am not very social these days, so it is so fulfilling to be immersed in the banter, nerdisms, and humor of Bob, Tiss, and Beef. You really do feel like you’re part of the environment they are recording in. I highly recommend a listen. (Just don’t ask about Shakespeare.)

Stumbled across these guys and absolutely love it! Listen to it during tedious filing at work and during drives to and from work. Great topics-sometimes makes me laugh and other times makes me run up the stairs before something gets me after lights out! Love listening to these guys!

Too much unnecessary cussing and goofing around. Nothing intelligent, mindless banter. Wouldn’t recommend. It’s like listening to teenagers having a conversation, nothing to come away with it.

I stumbled across these guys and have truly enjoyed listening to their banter. The first episode I listened to while I was on a walk and was laughing out loud on my walk...so my neighbors think I’m weird, but who care! Seriously, love the topics and the banter.

If you like listening to paranormal/ unexplained things explained then this is an amazing podcasts. They have amazing chemistry and wonderfully fluid speaking voices. I dig their English accents, they are very calming. Though this is the first podcast I have gotten into, I’ve been binge listening to it. It’s super interesting. It also gives a little peak into English culture which I wasn’t expecting, but have also enjoyed.

This podcast is pretty freakin dope! It has so many amazing qualities, but I think the most important aspect is how broad the topics are. There is a little something for everyone and every episode is genuine. Give it a try if you’re in the mood for anything weird and for the occasional, and sometimes awful, pun or two!

This is and has been my favorite podcast for a long time. I listen to loads of podcasts, but Weird Tales is the one I most look forward to. I haaaate it when a podcast takes itself too seriously. You guys, on the other hand, give a good mix of actual information about interesting topics, your opinions about them, and then a lot of laughs. (Also, the main reason I love the show—you’re not trying to be sPoOOooKy. You know what I mean. And thank you so much for not doing that thing that a lot of other podcasts do where they crank up the bass and then talk into a microphone that’s literally millimeters away from their lips).

These guys tell everything from the everyday common persons perspective. They keep you laughing a lot of the time and there episodes are always great. I started listening on my drives to work and quickly caught myself listening to them when I was home alone catching up on the back episodes. Great podcast and keep producing guys. All of you who gave one and two stars belong in the “rubs” pile.

Annnnd you accidentally hear them all talking at once interrupting each other nonstop. The least informed and least knowledgeable dudes to ever speak about things they know zero about. I can’t figure out how anyone reaches their ages and doesn’t have a clue about simple everyday things my six year old understands thoroughly.

Tried to listen to one episode based on the interesting subjects but it’s just off topic banter and not informative.

I found this podcast by googling something along the lines of “deep sea creature podcast” and it gave me one of the 2-part episode about the ocean and all its mysteries. I only planned on listening to that one episode but I loved the style of storytelling, I love how you all have different beliefs yet can talk with open mindedness (that’s so rare nowadays), and now I’m hooked. Binged everything from episode one and now I’m almost caught up to current episodes so I’m pacing myself cause I don’t want to run out! Keep up the great work! 👍🏼👍🏼

Best podcast ever! I’m a huge fan of podcasts about “weird” stuff, and this is by far my favorite. The research into various topics is presented very succinctly, which leaves room for witty banter and natural conversation. The companion website that lists the various media used (pics, video, audio, etc.) is genius. Keep it up boys!

Was really hoping to find a good cast, however i was supremely disappointed. The first 10 minutes started off with a conversation between 3 guys. It had nothing to do with the cast. It was all inside jokes and unrelated material, like a few friends who hadn’t seen each other all week. When it finally did get to the topic (Rasputin), it was clear that none of them had done any kind of research. I cant count how many time i heard “i’m not sure”. Not to mention when they contradicted themselves regarding the topic as the cast went on. Maybe if i were still 14 years old, and interested in guesses and conjecture it would be entertaining. It was really annoying, and it took everything i had to listen to 45 minutes of the over hour long cast before i just turned it off. Rubbish.

I love to listen to spooky podcasts at night before going to sleep. Gave these guys a listen last night (weird phone calls) and actually got scared! The hosts are funny but don’t waste too much time on banter, just enough to be fun. Loved it and can’t wait to hear more!

I just found this podcast recently, about a week or so ago, and I’ve already been blowing through the episodes like mad.

I listen to this podcast every morning and when I try other ones I keep going back to Bob, Beef and Tiss! They have so many great topics. Makes me laugh and scares me at the same time.

I absolutely love the way in which the hosts of this show interact with each other and there listeners. It’s truly a breath of fresh air!
