032. Creating safe spaces for your children to express themselves, teaching them forgiveness authentically and other ways to teach your children conflict resolution skills.
In this episode, I address an important topic for working mothers (and yes, aunties too): teaching children conflict resolution skills!  I talk about 5 ways in which any mother/caregiver can support the little ones in their lives.  Of the many tips I provide, I specifically love "forgive your children" the most.  Why?  Because I had to walk a path of deep forgiveness of motherhood and yes, even of my son in order to authentically teach him how to forgive.  It truly was my saving grace.   Be sure to join us for the upcoming 2021 21 Days Negotiation Challenge!    Join the We Resolve to Win Negotiation Challenge! What a delight it was to talk to Shable Harris, a Software Engineer and Creative Director based out of Miami Beach, Florida.  In this episode, Shable shares her journey, what she learned along the way and the importance of learning how to fall in love with failure.  What I was most excited about this episode is how Shable talked about the importance to make room for yourself and not being "quiet about it."  She also speaks of tribe, community and the things that being in tech taught her as an African-American woman.  Her advice is wonderful and her heart is sincere!  Enjoy the episode!
