When making life decisions, there are two groups of people--those who give up and those who refuse to give up. In general, the majority of those who give up do so for different reasons. Contrary to what others may think, it is not always because of laziness or lack of ambition. Believe it or not they give up for reasons that very well may be are out of their control. Such as, illness, lack of finances, education, or family support. Refuse to give up on God’s promises Now for the sake of this blog post when I say, "Refuse to Give Up," I am talking about God and His promises. What I know for sure is that when God makes a promise it will come to pass. 2 Corinthians In other words, if He promised it in His Word, trust and believe you will see it. And if He put a promise in your spirit you can bank on it happening. Numbers A time and a season Another major reason people give up hope is a lack of faith and confidence in themselves and/or God. Now, there is an important factor to consider, and that is faith. Hebrews No doubt, it can be hard to hold on to the promises of God. Especially if you have been waiting for a long period of time. One thing we must keep in mind is that there is a time and a season for all things. Simply stated, if you are waiting for healing in your body, refuse to give up. If you need money to start that business, refuse to give up. Are you praying for a loved one to receive Jesus; refuse to give up hope. Because God’s plans for you and your family are good.
